My daughter and I will be going to Disney for the first time in August for 10 days. I would like to schedule one big thing for us to do. I want to surprise her as well, so based on your experiences with one or all of the following, which would you suggest and why?

Thanks so much!

-Bibbity Bobbity Boutique (hair, nails, makeup, princess outfit & photo shoot)
-Sea World & Discovery Cove (swim with the dolphins)
-Tea (I think) with Princess Aurora at the Grand Floridean
-Illuminations or Wishes cruise
-Swimming / Snorkeling Tour at Epcot
-Any others that I am missing that might be a lot of fun?

We are staying at the Pop, and have made ADR's for lots of restaurants ranging from the theme parks to resorts, character meals to buffets to nice sit downs. Most of the time we will be either at the theme parks or at the hotel swimming, etc, but I really want to do something really fun!

In my opinion -

I would venture out of Disney for a day and do Sea World/Discovery Cove. It is truly worth the time and I think will provide much longer lasting memories then say BBB or the Tea, especially since you say you are doing lots of character meals, etc.

Just did BBB and Disney Princess Tea w/ DD6 this past week. I thought both were fantastic and unforgetable experiences. DD loved the tea and the Princess Aurora doll that she received (Rose Petal, Barren Branch, and Aurora were all very attentive and entertaining) but she can't stop talking about BBB. We did not do the full package that includes the dress and shoes as she has a favorite non-disney princess dress that we brought along. I put her own dress on her, bought her a new crown that I had them add to her make-over, and did the middle package: hair, make-up and nails. Will definitely do this again.

I can't speak to the swimming with the dolphins experience. We have never done it. I am going to wait until she is a bit older and more confident in her swimming (probably when she is about 10).

I am sure that no matter which experience you choose you will have a blast.
