we could use some pixie dust too. ... got home @ 2 am this morning.

DD2 had fever of 105.9 & we spent 9+ hrs in the ER. She had no wet diaper for over 8 hrs. She's only 20 months old & 23 lbs. Did MANY tests, blood cultures, etc & looks @ this point that is a virus.

She has been rehydrated & her fever is down. As long as she has a wet diaper every 8 hrs we won't have to visit the ER tomorrow.

DD1 got sick @ home w/ Dh while my dsister & I were @ the er w/ dd2. She is now running a fever of 103.4

I am SO tired of seeing my little ones sick.

Daddy is now NOt feeling well & I have bronchitis. It's
:crazy2: in our house right now.

I can't even think about our planned trip to NY for Thanksgiving. I just want everyone to be well.:worried:

Let's hope DD1 doesn't get hit as hard!

It is so hard to watch your little ones not feel good. You feel so helpless and it can be so scary.

Pixie dust your way!

The poor littles things and your DH and you as well. I hope everyone is better soon.

~*~*PD*~*~ to all of you. Hope everyone is on the mend quickly.

I hope this passes quickly with a minimum of discomfort for you all. Be sure and take care of yourself too.

:grouphug: to you!

We have had the same sickness in our house (although fevers not quite so high; 104.5 was our highest). DD2 (2 years old) has been the victim. DD1 (5) seems to have escaped with noting worse than a cold like me. DH had a cold and bronchitis. DD2 had brochitis with the beginning stages of pneumonia. While on Zythromax for the bronchitis, she developed a massive ear infection, so now she is on Omnicef. I think we are finally over the worst of it, but I can sympathize!!

I hope everyone feels better soon!

I'm so sorry to hear you have illness at your house. I sure hope all of you are feeling 100% better very soon.

I am so sorry your little ones are so sick :( I hope they get better soon, as well as you and your DH!! This year there seems to be a lot of germs and illnesses going around already. I hope you are all feeling better soon and can go on your trip to NY. :goodvibes

Omigosh that's terrible! I hope you are all feeling better real soon. That's quite a high fever, my son had a febrile seizure at 103.9 and that same night at the ER, my DH was told he had pneumonia. I was worried sick about both of them for days.

Please try to rest as you can and let anyone who is willing to help do so for you, we can't be super moms.

Must be the change of season, my DD is having a tough time with her asthma too.

Get well:D

Tons and tons of Pixie Dust to you and your little ones

I hope they only have what DD2 had here!!

DD is 6, 2 weeks ago- on Vetrans day- the school calls me to tell me she's got 102.8 I go get her, she sleeps all afternoon, into the evening, only waking up for drinks, and temp checks...

Wednesday- she sleeps most of the day- or just watches TV...temp checks- some motrin here and there, highest was 103.9 Pedialyte, and saltine crackers is all she had wednesday

Thursday she wakes up- FINE...goes to school...98.3 temp...comes home- feels FINE....supper comes, goes- she doesnt eat..."shes TIRED" (after sleeping for 2 days?)...take her temp- back up 104.3 more motrin, pedialyte...

Thursday night I check her temp during the night- stays right around 99.0 friday morning, feeling fine..I send her to school, with a note, that she's been spiking temps then dropping...nurse calls me says its all through the school..

Friday night she comes home- she's fine...saturday fine...sunday- HA! 102.9....LOVELY!...

Made it through last week, no temp..

Luckily she had no headache, sore throat, vomitting, or anything other than the fever.

I sure hope your DD's and DH get better soon....if I was you, I'd cancel the trip up to NY!!! They are going to have a very low threashold for germs after this virus...

Pixie Dust to them, and you!

Brandy

Sending pixie dust your way. I know how hard it is when everyone in the family is sick :(

Sending some pixie dust your way. It is hard enough when they're young and sick, but with you and your dh also being sick it makes it 3 time worse. Hope no more ER visits and you'll all be stuffing yourself with turkey next week in NY!

We were scheduled to see the Wiggles in DC on Monday.

Hope to scalp the tickets. :bounce:

IF my asthma is still flaring up on Tues. we WON'T go to NY. I agree that taking any of us up there puts us @ risk for my infections. ER doc said the same thing.

Does Dominoes deliver on Thanksgiving?:teeth:
