:worried: :worried: My DD broke here arm a week ago. She is due to go back to the doctor the week before our trip. Expecting to get the cast I am nervous that it won't be completly healed and will have to keep the cast on during our trip in 28 days. :sad2: This is my pesimistic side and want to be prepared just in case. Are there rides that they wont let her ride with a cast? :confused3 I want to cry!

I broke whatever the bone is for your forearm before went to disney in 2001 and had a cast the entire time. Disney makes sure that everything is "at your own risk" but I was fine on RnR coaster, ToT, and Space Mtn. The only thing you need to watch out for is anything with water, can't get the cast wet. I just wrapped it in a plastic bag and sealed it with a rubber band and it worked fine for splash mountain. All in all it should be ok, and she'll get the added bonus of having an autograph in a book as well as on the cast!

Sorry to hear your DD broke her arm.

There should be a lot of rides that will not be a problem. Not to sure about the more 'thrill' rides thou. If she still has her cast on you might want to avoid the wet rides. There is a plastic cover that can be worn over a cast if she would like to go swimming (but you can't keep it on too long).

What does her Dr think? Hope you enjoy your trip.

Dr thinks it should be healed in 4 weeks (broke her wrist) I will ask him what he thinks when we go back if she doesn't get it off. I just wasn't sure if there were rides that she wouldn't be able to go on where she has to hold on to something for dear life. Hehe She's 7 BTW.

My DD13 went to Disney in December with a broken arm. We were also worried, but nothing was ever said on any ride and she rode everything, including Space Mtn., Splash Mtn. (covered it up to keep dry), Rock'nRoller coaster, Tower of Terror, Mission Space, Test Track, etc.

The only ride she wasn't allowed to ride was Dueling Dragons at IOA, but she did ride Hulk, Mummy and every other rided at IOA & Universal.
