DD REsorts after MVMCP?

Has anyone stayed at one of the downtown disney hotels and attended either MNSSHP or MVMCP? I'm worried that there won't be bus transportaion back to the hotel since normal park hours would have ended 3 hours ago. Does anyone know? TIA

I can't say with authority, but on the nights that I've worked such events, I did see the Hotel Plaza buses running.

I always like to have a back up plan. If the DD Resort buses aren't running or you find the lines for the bus are too long or are just really, really tired, take a cab. If you decide to do that, my advice would be to walk or take the monorail to the Contemporary Resort and catch the cab from there. (You can also catch cabs at the TTC, though). I'd estimate the cost to be $12 -$15, including a tip. I'd also bet that you'd get back to your resort sooner and have a seat for the ride!
