DD light eater turning 10 - can parents do DDP and child pay oop?

Title says it all - can my DW and i buy the DDP and then pay OOP for our DD?

Nope. Everybody in your room must have the same DDP.

What you can do is get the kid the adult DDP and then just order kids meals for her and pay for them. Save the adult dining credit for something else. At buffet/AYCE/fixed price/dinner shows you'd pay the adult price for her anyway so you might as well use dining credits for that.

that's a great idea if i am following you right. so pay for three ddp adults, but pay oop for her at most meals and start to accumulate extra credits so that we could go to a signature one night instead of a regular TS?

Yes. Her credits will be adult credits. Credits are pooled by room, not by person; any of you can use them. Most restaurants will allow you to order a children's meal for her. Make sure you say when you order that her meal will be paid OOP and not with dining credits. You might have issues at Via Napoli depending on how you'd want to order, as they don't allow sharing between DDP and non DDP users or even among DDP users. Have heard Tutto Italia is doing the same thing now.

Awesome, thanks. If we end up going to VN, we can just use her DDP credit for that meal - we'd still have enough banked for a signature later in the trip. Thanks again!
