Our daughter had a TBI and Stroke a little over 6 months ago. She was chosen to be the Patient Representative for the Rehab Center that we go to. As a part of it, she will appear on TV for a few different things and have an article in the paper.

One TV apperance is done, and she has been in the paper twice now, here are the links for those, as well as the link for her CaringBridge site.

Thanks for sharing.
Your DD is beautiful and looks like she is doing very well. What a wonderful little ambassador for the rehab center.
I especially liked the pictures with her therapist. The tiny girl and the tenderness of the big man are priceless.

Hopew ur child always remembers her experience. I was pick to do the same thing for children hospital something I will always remember. They only picked two kids in the whole hospital. I was 6 and just had open heart surgery and the other kid had a near drwning.

Thanks!

Kenley has an awesome bond with Bobby. We don't completely understand why, he is a great guy, but from the second she began working with him (which wasn't initially), she just clung to him.

Oddly enough, in my last trimester of pregnancy with Kenley, our house was broken into. Bobby was, at the time, a police officer and the one to respond to our call. He remembered us from that, and I remembered that his daughter had been baptized that morning (DH is a youth minister, which is why Bobby told us). He looks rough and gruff, but he just melts with Kenley, and he is great with the little kids.

Thanks so much for sharing the articles. Your daughter is just precsious and I am so happy that she is doing so well.

Yay. The more positive coverage of folks with disabilities, the better.
