Here is the story. DD6 was not hungry at lunch. So about 2:30 we found a shady spot to watch the parade in front of Country Bear Jamboree. DH took DD to Casey's Corner for a hot dog. Well he turned into CC and 6 year old didn't see him. She started to cry when she could not find him. A nice lady asked her if she was lost and found a CM. DD said she spoke Spanish was all she could describe her. As I wanted to thank her. Anyway. DD so upset she could not remember dadd'y first name. So the CM would not release her to him when he came looking for her. Called me on walkie talkie. I claimed my sweet girl from CM. Terrified by what could have happened. CM told DH he had to buy her an ice cream and whatever she wanted. Got the BIG Princess balloon.
A million thanks and blessings to this angel who took the time to stop and get involved.

I'm glad everything worked out! That must have been a scary situation! :earseek:

we were waiting in line inside the ToonTown building to see Mickey Mouse. We were in line for a LONG time. The man in front of us in line had the cutest daughter!!!!! Anyway, his shirt had a lot of writing on the back. Believe me, we read his shirt a hundred times in line while we were waiting.................

An hour later, we were over at the outdoor water play area and we saw that same little girl wandering all by herself. She was probably 3 years old. Anyway, we followed her since we "knew" who she was. She wasn't with an adult. So, my sis told a CM and said we had seen her earlier and gave a description of her dad and the back of his shirt.

About ten minutes later, we saw the guy in the shirt. We said, "Hey! You were in front of us with the cute little girl waiting to see Mickey! Did you find your daughter?" and he said the daughter was with her mother. Just about then, the mother shows up without the little girl. So we explain that we had "turned her in" to a CM as we saw her all alone.

Mom thought dad had her. Dad thought mom had her. No one even knew she was missing.

My 2 children found a lost child about a month ago. He was 5 years old and when the parnets were found, they just grabbed the little guys arm and dragged him away with them. The parents didn't even bother to thank anyone for staying with the boy for the 30 minutes it took to find them! :confused3 They just started yelling at the 5 year old. Poor kid.
The CM gave my kids a peice of paper that let them ride first in line all day so they were happy with that!

Not at Disney......Many yrs ago I found a child at our local fair where I was working....It was early around 10:30-11am. The child was small enough that he couldn't tell me his name. :confused3 All he did was cry  ...I brought him to the lost persons building by 11:30am. (waited hoping mom or dad would come by looking for him). During my first break at 1pm I stopped by lost persons and he was still there. I got him something to eat and went back to have lunch with him. I kept asking the police officers as they passed by if he had been claimed, and they would say no. I went back every hour checking on him. We had every snack you can find at the fair, along with stuffed animals, and balloons. Finally at around 9:00pm the parents showed up at lost people to claim him. I truely believe they saw him there earlier in the day and left him there so they would have a free day..Free babysitter+ never had to buy him anything. .....People like that don't deserve children.

when my oldest son now 12 was 2 1/2 He was in Epcot with my family( i had left that morning to go to work) They were standing by mexico and he took his stroller and walked away! There were 5 adults there and 3 other kids ages 1 to 7. Well no one at the time noticed we walked away. Ashort time later they all asked where he was. He was found 2 hrs later, the exit was closed no one could leave . he was found by Esmerelda in France

so he is now known as the boy who closed Epcot in our family

what dirtbags. I hope the police really gave them a hard time.

In 2002 we took my parents to WDW. The kids were 4,7, 10. We were at a busy boardwalk and looked in one of the restaurants, when we all realized DS (4) was not with any of us--he got away from his parents AND grandparents! He had gone out to check out the big bikes, and a CM there had figured out he was alone and was watching him until the freaked-out adults came running. We have always told the kids to find a CM or look for the white nametags if they get separated from us.
