DD first date

When I got home she had already showered and had her dress on. We did her hair and put some makeup on, her minnie mouse pearl earrings and necklace, and then we waited and waited. Then her date finally showed up apologizing for her having to wait because there had been traffic. He was wearing his suit and tie. I said goodbye to them both and watched them walk down the street, hand in hand, going to their first Daddy and Daughter dance.

Oh my gosh, that is so incredibly sweet, and the way you told it brought a tear to my eye! I could totally see that being like a scene in a heartwarming commercial. I hope they had a wonderful time... how special.
