DD/Boardwalk Dining Options

My DH and I just realized that with all the ADRs I made, we still have one TS credit left (because we paid for the SoA in advance and will leave it that way). So we're talking about using one the night we arrive, but not sure WHERE. Either Boardwalk or Downtown Disney. We've done the ESPN Club before, and we have res's for seafood places and italian places that week.

We can either go to Wolfgang Puck Cafe (we LOVE their pizza .. and I think I still have a card for free dessert from when we were there on our honeymoon) or Planet Hollywood, since the package has that voucher.

I can't decide though. And he doesn't mind. Suggestions? Comments about both places?

Have you thought about trying Kouzzina?

Nah, based on what I read regarding the menu, it's not something any of us would enjoy. My DH and I *might* be able to work with it, but our picky 4yo? No way.

For that first night, though, I think we want your average American-style menu.

What about Cape May? Its very american-calmbake, bbq etc.

How about Yachtsman's Steakouse? it's in the Yacht Club, on the boardwalk and IMOP is even better than Le Cellier....
I also really like the Flying Fish Cafe at the Boardwalk - but you said you already had ressie's for seafood...

I looked into it and we're looking for something a bit more casual. The dress code for men is NOT something my DH will want to deal with, especially after driving for 8 hours. I think we want to go "as is", which will probably be more like "as slobs" Plus, we'll have our 4yo with us .. again, after driving all day, I think a more casual place is better suited for us.

But it looks like a GREAT menu! I was drooling (it's dinnertime here )

I made reservations for PH. I asked my DH if he had a preference and we have never eaten there. We've been to WP and, although we loved it, we wanted to try all new restaurants this time.

Big River? You have to call them directly for reservations though.
