DCP Costuming

Hello everyone, I have a couple if questions about DCP costuming:

-Is Entertainment costuming different from regular costuming? What are the different types of costuming roles? What are the duties of each?

If anyone could please answer these questions it would be greatly appreciated. I can't seem to find much information on this role and I'm really interested.

Entertainment Costuming is working with the characters on parades and shows and such and caring for their costumes.

Operational Costuming is working with all Cast Members costumes (regular uniforms) getting them the right sizes, checking items in and out, laundry, etc.

Both areas are classified under the same role, so you cannot select one over the other.

Most CPs are trained in two Costuming areas during 1 program. Your first area will be selected before you arrive; you may request your second area through scheduling, but it will be dependent on the need of that location if you get it.
