DCL Transfers from Hilton Galveston to port

If you've used DCL Transfers from Hilton Galveston to the port, was it the complimentary Hilton shuttle or paid transportation through DCL?

It's a Hilton Shuttle I believe. We opted to Uber a bit later ourselves as it left once and fairly early.

We stayed at the Hilton a few years ago and just took the hotel shuttle to the port. I believe it stopped at the hotel next door as well.

No, it was the hotel's shuttle. This was a few years ago and I don't think DCL had transfers from that hotel at the time. We just asked at the front desk when we checked in about what time the shuttle left and we were in the lobby at that time. You did have to sign up at the front desk.

Is Disney offering transfers from that hotel? If the hotel shuttle is still running I, personally, wouldn't pay DCL to get to the port I'd just use the hotel shuttle. If the hotel no longer has their own shuttle then I would go with DCL or an Uber.

Thank you. We booked the hotel & round trip transfers through DCL, but yesterday I noticed that our reservation did not list transfers from the hotel to port. The TA checked & said we'd be using the hotel shuttle. I was just trying to verify that's correct.

Glad it got worked out. We took private transfers from the airport to the hotel. We were there 2 nights before the cruise. I had contacted Enterprise rental car and they came to pick me up at the hotel to bring me to their office to pick up the rental. Then the morning of the cruise they drove me back to the hotel after I dropped of the rental. Since we were there for 2 whole days we wanted to have some transportation to get around.

I have not seen DCL transfers offered from any hotel to the port that already had a hotel shuttle to the port...in any city.
