DCL Transfer Boarding Group?

We were looking at staying at the Hilton partner resort in Ft. Lauderdale the night before the cruise; does anyone know generally what the transfer group usually is for that? Is it worth the convenience? There will be 4 of us and a toddler.

I actually haven't seen anyone get group 11 which does not surprise me because DCL had a few phantom BG numbers before they expanded out as well. The earliest I have seen Plat get is 13 (correction: reports of BG 12 for plat out of PC) but I have not seen BG 11 for DCL transfers. They might hold it open if they need them due to a sailing that is unusually full of DCL transfer guests but have not seen them in use.
Just saw BG 11 and 12 used for transfers in PC last month. We had BG 13 - first BG for platinum.

I would recommend staying at a resort closer to the airport with a free shuttle back-and-forth. And taking transportation from the airport . It will be cheaper. And you won't have to try to find transportation for your toddler from the airport to the hotel. You will also be given boarding group 3.

The Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina is way overpriced for what it is

So is this a bigger problem at PC when boarding the Wish, Treasure or say the Fantasy?
It depends on how many people are using DCL transportation for any given sailing. The Wish seems to attract more first-time DCL cruisers, so it may be that they're using DCL transportation as the way to get onboard earlier (since they would get last crack at online check in and selecting PATs if they were getting themselves to port).

Thank you for the info! Luckily we get a Friends and Family discount with Hilton so it's pretty cheap for us compared to the surrounding hotels.

For the port arrival time, you'll be allowed inside as soon as your bus arrives, no need to worry about it.
This is not always true. I took DCL transportation in April and they held us on the bus at PC for about 20-30 minutes because the line was so backed up. This was Terminal 10 (the Wish) so that may not happen at the DCL terminal, but it can happen. By the time we made it inside and through security and check in they were already calling BG 11. Perhaps my exerpeince is the exception, not the rule, but it does show there's no guarantee you'll be let in the terminal as soon as your bus arrives.

I have had this happen at terminal 8 in PC. We were held on the bus due to crowding
