DCL to replace Flounders with Casinos!!!

For all us adults who wanted a casino, DCL just announced the Flounders area on both ships would be removed and replaced with a Casino!!! DCL will offer in-cabin babysitting in its place for all children too young for the Oceaneer's Club.

I cannot wait!

Oh and don't forget to change your clocks back tonight...as tomorrow is the first day of DST! April 2, 2006

where and when did disney announce this? i know a lot of people will be happy but a lot of people will be angry....unless this is an april fools joke, which i think it is since there is 9 minutes until midnight!

I suspect another April Fool's joke. For any of us who have been in Flounders the space is not large enough for any kind of casino, besides where would the infants stay while the adults are dining at Palo...nice try.

I just watched the show about DCL on the Travel channel a few weeks ago, (I know it was made awhile ago though) and I remember that an executive for DCL said that they prided themselves on not having a casino onboard...not in those words exactly, but along those same lines.

I sure hope this is an April fool's joke. I would be one of the ones that would be very unhappy if that happened. But I agree about the Flounder's area. I do not think that everybody would feel comfortable with in-cabin babysitting??

Oh I'm glad its a joke because I'm not interested in seeing a casino while on vacation. Madalay Bay is just down the street from me and I never go to the Strip. Being away from all that is the best. Geez we have video poker machines in every supermarket and 7-11.
