DCL site so slow!

Last night was doing our online check-in and it was very slow. But had been on it the day before with no delays at all. May depend on how many folks are using the site.

Designed for two ships of Max 2700 people, it has two of 2700 and two of 4000 now on add one and can't cope.

It's not just DCL. Recently took an Alaska cruise on Celebrity and their site was painfully slow and sometimes had errors as well. I think most of the cruise line websites need an overhaul.

I usually do not have any problems, but today it is bad. I just was trying to put some excursions in my favorites and it locked up. I gave up and will try later.

Normally this isn't something I bother complaining about, and I know almost all cruise sites are poorly implemented, but GOOD GOD. I am trying to log in to spend money with them, and it is literally taking so long I had time to SEARCH for this thread, type this rant and I'm still stuck on the 'please do not refresh this page'... interstitial, and that's after spending five minutes waiting to see if it would even log me on.

If anyone from Disney is reading ... ha ... I AM TRYING TO GIVE YOU MONEY. MAKE IT EASIER. IT IS 2015.

Edit. Still loading. I know this is the height of first world problems, but I just don't understand how the person in charge of this at Disney still has a job. You NEVER prevent the customer from giving you money.

I have tried to log into my cruise activities quite a few times the last few days. It is still not loading, so it is not just you. Who knows what is going on. I may send an e-mail to Disney just to add to the multitude they have already received.
