DCL site redirecting to Club Penguin?

At first I thought I was just going nuts, but for the last two weeks, 95% of the time I click on a link to the DCL website, or type it in, I get automatically redirected to Club Penguin.

The only way I can get there is if I type in (don't click on) disneycruise.disney.go.com/login and then login to my account. I'm then usually fine.

Anyone else?? This happens at home, at work, on chrome, on firefox...I have ad blockers, is that why? WTH?

No, the adblock programs don't cause it. If it were just one computer, I'd say it's a cookie or malware/redirect issue. Since it's on multiple, that is weird. I know I don't have any problems with it. Have you tried searching on google and going to a result on the bottom of the page? If you click on a link and get sent to Club Penguin and try the same link again later, does it redirect you?

Yes. And I've never been to Club Penguin before!

Am I really the only person this is happening to? Hahahahahaha.

This is happening to me as well, hence why I am here posting about it after searching for my problem! It is very frustrating!

It sounds like you are or were infected with a virus. If you have your favorites or history synced that could be why it's happening across multiple computers for you.

I am virus free and my favorites and history do not sync between my home Mac and my work PC (I know they could, they don't). It's still happening. Club Penguin is a Disney property, right?

I'm now just rolling with the general hilarity and letting my husband do anything that has to happen on the actual website.

Considering all the problems I have had with the DCL website this doesn't surprise me at all. It is pretty funny.

Ok, this is getting insane. It's still happening. Every platform. Every computer. I can't even go through the "contact us" on the Help page -- I get a 404 error (Mickey saying "uh oh") every time and it redirects back to the help site, but just when I get to the point where I could describe the problem...it redirects me to Club Penguin.

Does anyone have an email address I can use? I can't do anything. On any Disney website.

Are you signing into your browser with a profile...? On google for example I always login as myself and all the links etc are the same across various computers using chrome, regardless if its a mac or pc I am me. If the computers are all on your home network there could also be something fishy going on at the subnet level with DNS redirects? Maybe? Does it redirect if you click on this link?

It's happening at home and at work, on chrome and firefox and safari and i.e., on a pc and a mac. I logged out of my google profile for just that reason. It does redirect when I click that link. It didn't the first time, it does now.
I assume there's some extension or something -- the only thing I can think of is my ad blocker, which I have installed on all browsers I use. But disabling that on the site didn't help.

That is so oddly specific. I wish I was there to troubleshoot it with you. The only number they seem to have on the site is (800) 951-3532 - maybe they can redirect you to technical support? Or you could email but that would require getting a website to load to fill out their form. >_>
