Hi everyone, I just spoke with DCL because I could only access the Palo tab on the online ressie system and they told me while it is accepting ressies, it is in test mode and therefore it's not at full functionality for everyone. She said to try back in a few days until the get the gliches out.....so that may explain why some people have no problems making ressies and others do!

Just keep trying..multiple times per day. We were able to access everything.

Are reservations available to everyone? What kinds of reservations can be made online? Thanks.

There are various threads on this but in short, you can now book your Palo, Spa and shore excursion ressies online and in addition you can print out your cruise docs AND register the kids for the clubs, all online! If you're a castaway cay member you can do this 90 days before your cruise if you're paid in full. 1st time cruisers have to wait 75 days before. Concierge is 105 days before........... :teeth:

We have cruised three times before so we are Castaway Club members, but for some stupid reason I moved my booking to a TA for our upcoming cruise in November.

Can I still make all the reservations you mentioned even though our booking is held by a TA??

We booked through a TA and were still able to use the online system.
You do need to have your reservation #

and i felt so triumphant getting on the Magic early last month and getting right to Palo's ressies and it took 3 minutes tops and I was so giddy. This on-line aspect is of course the next logical progression, but I feel something has been lost...sigh. Oh well, I'll still get to the Port as early as possible, gives me more time in the disney experience.

I tried all day yesterday, and it kept saying to try back later.
When it ask for my ressie number, the number I have is a 8 digit number, then a comma, and another 8 digit number.
Does this sound like the right ressie number they are looking for ?
We leave to WDW on Tues. and would love to get my Palo's ressies in
before we leave !!!!

That does NOT sound like the DCL ressie number. Call DCL or your TA and find out the DCL ressie number and try that.

Luvindiscruiser - did you book with DU? Just use one set of the 8 numbers. I did this and it worked. With our cruise this Sept it was the first group of 8 numbers but with our Oct 2006 cruise I got in using the 2nd set of 8 numbers. Also with our Oct 2006 cruise for some reason I had to use my DH's b-day to get in but with the sept curise I got on using my b-day. So try a couple of things before giving up.

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but I LOVE this new feature!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By far, the worst part of the cruise was the first hour - and my stress and worry about not getting what I wanted leading up to that hour.

To do this all before you leave - OMG! Incredible! Stress free! Nothing but fun!

Look out - here we come - even more reasons to book our next cruise!

I totally agree A&F's mom--gives us more time to explore and enjoy the ship on the first day. :goodvibes I made all my reservations last night--just have a tip for those on the west coast (or those night owls back east :sunny: ); you might want to wait until late at night to log-on. I was able to make all my reservations around 9:00 p.m. (PST) after trying repeatedly to log on at around 8:00 p.m. May not be as busy later in the evening......

:flower: You are awesome !! :flower:
Thank you so much, I finally got in with my second set of
numbers and My birthdate !!! My ressies for Palo are done, and the
kids are registered !!! Now, I can board the ship, have lunch, and
relax till we sail awayyyyyyyyyyyyyy !! Thanks so much !!!

Still having no luck with the new website! I can view my reservation and can even see my Palo and Spa ressies that Amy at DCL booked for me because we bought REAS, but had I not done this by phone with her I would still have nothing!
I keep trying to register my kids for the clubs and reserve a spot or two for the exercise classes at the spa...NOTHING!
anyone else get the blue abyss screen when you click the "register now" button for the kids? and absolutely no response to clicking the register button for the spa? :confused3
I am not as frustrated as I would be if I didn't have any ressies yet, but I am very confused why I keep reading on these posts how so many others are having such success!

The web page will not let me update my Castaway club number, so it will not let me book our excutions or Palo at 90 days from sailing.

It would only take our Castaway Club number when I did it through my DH's name. I had to register him seperately and use a different email address (used his work address). Once he was registered, it let me update with the CC number. I guess when I make reservations (which won't be until 90 days before the cruise) I will have to go through his Log On.
