DCL Newbie - Question re: advance DVC Booking

Hi All. Little background. DH and I have never done a cruise together (we've cruised separately when we were much younger in our 20s with friends and family). With that said, I've never had to look into booking a cruise on my own. I see that the itineraries are out for Fall 2019 and we're looking at possibly booking a cruise for our 2019 vacation (our DVC points are tied up for a vacation in 2020 already so that counts out WDW for 2019 - first world probs, right?)

Anyways - I see that as DVC members we can book a cruise on 5/23, but I see nothing about the pricing for the different dates/cabins. In looking at the current fall dates, the prices vary depending on date. At this point, the date is not an issue, so we'd lean one way or the other depending on price. Is there anywhere this information is posted so that I can make an informed decision about what date/whether this is a good fit for us? Or will that information be posted on the DCL website shortly and I just don't know that b/c I'm not a DCL expert?

Unfortunately you won’t be able to see prices until the day you can actually look up and book the itineraries online. Usually someone here will post opening day prices as soon as Plantinum folks come and report the quotes they’ve received for different cruises so we should have some numbers by the 23rd. You can use this years fall opening day prices as a rough estimate of which cruises are more expensive and a general ballpark of what costs to expect but it won’t be perfect of course.

Yes, usually. Rarely, the last minute restricted fares are lower than opening day prices, but not all cruises have those.
