Hi all, I see lots of threads about Disney transport to PC, I'm wondering about PC to MCO. We are staying the night we disembark at the Hyatt, and flying out the following day. With late dining, I'd like to be amble to have a leisurely disembarkation day and enjoy that late breakfast on board...anyone know how they handle things for bus timing when you get off? They just told us there would be a letter in our stateroom the last night. We aren't rushing for a plane, so no rush for a bus.

Thanks!

I think late breakfast is 8:00 and,

9:00 AM – If you are still on the ship, crew members will begin asking you nicely to leave.

Does DCL offer a transfer post-cruise directly TO the Hyatt? I know they have a pick-up from there pre-cruise but I haven't heard of one direct post-cruise. You can take the MCO bus. They depart regularly on debarkation morning, with the last one typically holding until the last passengers are off the ship. As PP shared, that will be 9/9:30 that you are strongly encouraged to exit, and if taking transfers please don't be that passenger who holds up a whole bus because you aren't in a hurry.

Yes, the DCL bus goes to MCO (Orlando Airport) and the Hyatt is right AT the airport. Inside the terminal. You can't miss it! Those balconies are the hotel (the balconies overlooking the atrium are not accessible.)

(As long as you are talking about the Hyatt Regency Orlando Airport and not the Hyatt Place, Orlando)

Breakfast on the last day is not like the other days where you get a full experience from the dining room and it feels pretty rushed. I just got off the Fantasy last week and late breakfast started at 8:30 on the last day. Staff was all over the place and you don't get to interact with them as much, but obviously not their fault as they do need to clear the ship. We were served our breakfast pretty quickly and a little bit past 9 they turn on all the lights in the dining room to let people know it's time to go. It's not really a leisure experience for me, feels more like breakfast before work.

Walking out of the ship was a breeze, we were off by 9:30. We didn't get to a point where the crew was asking us to leave but I can imagine that happened pretty soon after. I also tried to talk to our servers a little during breakfast, but I could tell they had a lot going on that day. Buses are readily available at the port, we waited like 15 mins. for it to fill up, and then we were off to the airport. We checked in at the Hyatt around 11:00 am.

Read all the above - you have to get off the boat. They have to clear the ship of all passengers for Customs. It really isn’t leisurely. It’s more like a busy diner.

And if you decide to be the last one off, you will be that person holding up a bus of people who are trying to get to a plane. Which sounds like that is what are you trying to avoid (by your learning about what to expect) - thank you.

And those bus transfers are available one-way to MCO (Either to or from).

Bon Voyage.

Like other's have noted, you may not be in a rush to get off the ship, but the ship is in a rush to get you off the ship as quickly as possible. Once you are on the bus and at the airport, then things can be whatever speed you like.
Our late seating breakfast was at 8 am, and we were done and out of the restaurant by 8:30 am. Things you can't predict will determine how long it takes to actually exit the ship. The goal is to have you walk directly off the ship, but that doesn't always happen. They started letting folks off our cruise at 7:30 am, we lined up at 8:30am and it took 45 minutes for us to reach the gangway. Just slow going that day. We ran into some folks we knew who said they were in the last off the ship at 10:15 am.

You could instead skip breakfast on the ship and have a nice leisurely breakfast OR lunch at McCoys at the Hyatt. It's a nice restaurants away from the fray of the food court.

Thanks to all! We’ve done the late breakfast before (and it would appear we enjoyed it more than most!), but never taken DCL transport back to MCO. Great to know we should expect a load and go situation, versus a scheduled bus time that might conflict with breakfast. If all goes well we should be able to have a last breakfast on the ship, check in at the Hyatt and Uber to Disney springs in time for lunch! Tell Wolfgang to warm up the pucks!
