Can you book a cruise paying cash for the 1st 2 passengers and using points for 3rd / 4th? How does that work for deposit purposes? Would we have to pay the deposit for all passengers or just for the ones we're paying cash for?

Thanks.

I think you have to use points for the first passenger and any combination thereafter.

Thanks for the reply. I'm just trying to maximize our points and still do an extra cruise :) Depending on when we travel, then, I could pay for one adult and one child with points and then do cash for the other adult and child. Now to figure a time to go... I want to squeeze in a 3- or 4-night.

I believe you must pay in full at the time of booking also - it';s not the same as a cash reservation where you only have to give them a deposit per person.

This is my understanding as well.

Be sure to ask MS about the cancellation policy - it is not the same as booking through a TA or DCL directly.

Best wishes -
