Last week, I created a similar post for DL. (You can find it HERE).
This week it is DCA's turn.

The goal for today's visit was to experience as many attractions as possible by 1230pm.
Attractions I missed
- Philharmagic (more interested in the ride experiences)
- Luigi's Rollicking Roadsters (would have done it, but it was down in the morning)
- Jumping Jellyfish (30 minute wait posted with only one set of towers running, no thanks)
- Grizzly River Run (closed for rehab)

Arrived at the Mickey and Friends parking structure at 650am. They did not open for parking until 7am.
Was able to get to the entrance by 720am, I believe they opened at 730am.
Headed down Buena Vista Street for the Rope Drop area between Carthay Circle Restaurant and Grizzly River.

My spot for Rope Drop. I thought it was not good, but luckily most of these people headed to Web Slingers first. First LL I booked was for Guardians (return 8am-9am). Waited to purchase Web Slingers ILL. If I had been fishing for Anytime LL, I would have chosen Incredicoaster, as it was down for almost an hour and a half.

Rope Drop started and I rode Radiator Springs Racers first. I was able to get on quickly, but there was a seatbelt issue with the car ahead of us, so we sat there for another 8 minutes as they removed those guests from the car and started the ride back up. Once Racers was done, I went on Mater's, then used LL for Guardians (immediately booked LL for Toy Story Midway Mania), rode Monsters's Inc without LL. After Monster's Inc,, walked to Pixar Pier and rode Pal Around Swinging, since I had extra time for TSMM.

Then went to Emotional Whirlwind, booked Incredicoaster LL since it came back up. Return time was 945-1045 (meaning I have until 11am to scan and can book next LL at 1045). After Whirlwind used LL for TSMM, then rode Jessie Carousel. Started to get hungry, so I mobile ordered a spicy corn dog at the Corn Dog Castle. Then rode Golden Zephyr, followed by Symphony Swings. Grabbed Lunch at 1030am.

Lunch 1030am-1045am. When 1045am (end of Incredicoaster Return Time) came up, I booked a ride right now LL for Goofy's Sky School (this allowed me to book Soarin next return time 1115-1215, PERFECT). Also booked a 1125am -1225am Web Slingers ILL.

After Goofy's, I had to book it to Incredicoaster. Line was a bit long for the LL scan, so the CM let me in even though it was past the 11am extra time cut off (11:03am). After Incredicoaster, 15 minute wait for Mermaid, then use ILL for Web Slingers. It was getting hot, so I grabbed the Sake Melon drink near Monsters Inc. It was an okay drink, I still prefer the HONEY BUZZ at Pym's Tase Kitchen. Then used LL for Soarin to close it out.
Drink Tip: I avoid paper straws at all costs, but they are good for stirring. Make sure you stir your drinks at the Disney Parks, as they usually need some mixing.

That is 15 attractions in about 4 hours and 30 minutes. Keeping in mind, I took 30 minutes for lunch and 15 minutes to use the bathroom and grab that drink.

Thinking about doing a park hopping version that lasts all day, but that may be rough. :)

Luigi's is rarely open at rope drop now which really bothers me. If it were open, it would be super convenient to do as a second ride given that the first ride is almost always Web Slingers and occasionally Racers. I like the ride but I'd rather loop it a few times in the morning when it's a 5 minute wait rather than have to decide if it's worth a 30 minute wait later on in the day.

There is something so satisfying about reading a single visitor absolutely maximize the number of rides in a short amount of time. That’s exactly what I would do if I ever visited alone. It is like a meta-game within the park.
Had someone with me.

If you really want to maximize, you could try the Every Ride Challenge (exactly what it sounds like: 1 day, both parks, approx 50 rides depending what's open).

If you're on Twitter you can look at the account of @1313EveryRide, the most recent team to do it. Google "every ride challenge" for rules etc. (It's just for fun, no money involved.)

I would love to attempt this someday.
