I was hoping someone could help me with our plan at opening for DCA. We will be staying at the GC and going to DCA on Mon June 20. It's me, my husband & 3 kids -- youngest is only 38.5 in tall. Please tell me if this works:

(My plan is also contingent on the assumption that I will have LM FP's)
Use GC entrance at 9:00 to get WOC FP
Line up for Soarin FP?? I'm assuming since we will have to use rider switch that we cannot possibly go through soarin twice to get back to rope drop for TSMM? Can we even get soarin FP at 9:30 or do we have to wait til 10? And if we can get the soarin FP, where do we go from there to line up for TSMM?

Thanks for any input

Use GC entrance at 9:00 to get WOC FP. (Can;t speak to, I haven't stayed on property but I believe this is fine).
Soarin FP's are not available prior to 9:30, I don't see you having to line up for them.
The reason to line up at rope drop is it to be near the front of the line so you can be one of the first to get to TSMM (be prepared to "walk briskly"). If you ride Soarin' at 9:30 when it opens I don't foresee you getting to rope drop much prior to 9:50 which will put you a ways back in the line. You could divide and conquer by having your husband ride Soarin with those kids that are tall enough and then meet you at rope drop. You could also ask for a rider switch pass at 9:30 for yourself and the two tall enough children (that you can use later in the day.

The rope drop you want to be at has historically been at what is now the entrance of LM. I speculate that they will be moving that back with the opening of LM. I would watch these boards for more info later.

Hope that helps.

The bolded is technically incorrect. It's not the LM entrance. It is next to the LM building.

I agree with the first paragraph particularily, get rider swap for later. But want to add while parent 1 rides, parent 2 could get FPs for everyone to use later. you might want to do both to ride 3 times.

For the rope drop you can go past the GRR exit down to San Fransico Street. Though because of LM opening that place may be much busier, I would still go there and even if you are back in the crowd remember that many will go to LM and you can go with the remainder to TSMM.
