DCA instead of DL on a Sunday? or just as crowed?

This is our first trip to DL and our first day will be a Thursday (hours are 10-8 that day) and we will use our EE that day. Then we won't be able to do the parks again until Sunday and 1/2 day on Monday. I was thinking of doing DCA on Sunday morning since it will be more crowed at DL. Then maybe go back to DL in the early evening on Sunday when crowds start to thin? (or am I dreaming?)
Then I think the park opens at 9am on Monday and we are doing Toontown Madness with our special ticket thingy first thing then we can be at DL until about noon or so (our flight is 4pm out of SNA)

We have the 3 day park hopper tickets FYI. We have special tickets for Lego land on Friday and then seeing family on Saturday which is why we are spacing out the days.

As far as the days at DL and DCA does this sound ideal? changes? I know we don't have much time at DCA but with younger kids I think this will be fine. Hopefully we'll go again in the future and they can spend more time there then.
thanks

Personally, I would be at DL at opening on Sunday. Spend a couple of hours there. Then head over to DCA. It usually opens an hour or two after DL, and you shouldnt waste those hours! Then head back to DL in the late afternoon/ evening to enjoy DL a little more. The parks are super close together so its very easy to hop.

I forgot that DCA opens after DL-good point. You're right, we don't want to waste a few hours! ::MickeyMo
thanks
