DCA Food & Wine Festival 2025 Superthread - Read First Post for Updates - Now Updated with Full Menus

The Festival Guide (booklet) is really good this year. Make sure you pick one up. Kudos to those who put it together.

Anyone know whose art this is? Is it Jerrod Maruyama?

I love when Soarin over California is back. Luckily I was able to ride it early because it went down around noon for several hours.

Edit to add: I believe the Remy caramel apple is only available in DCA. I checked Wonderful World of Sweets in DTD and, while they had the other new treats, they did not have Remy.

@LKing This may be dumb, but where do we pick up a Guide? Last year I just got the Sip and Savor and was so food focused. This year I want to take more time to soak everything in.

Not a dumb question. Today they gave me a copy when I purchased my S&S pass. They were also in plexiglass holders at the kiosks throughout the park.

I'll be there tomorrow and will try to take pictures of the kiosks so you know what I am talking about.

Too bad there isn't music every day! There won't be anything on the day I'm at DCA. (Unless I can't read because it was slightly hard to follow, not exactly in date order)
This is one of my pet peeves. I shouldn't have to go to one page for artists, one for music, and one for culinary demos, each with a different format for listing dates and timing.

This is what the kiosks look like. They have utensils on one side, napkins on another and the festival guides on a third side. Again, they give you a copy when you purchase your S&S card. If you aren't purchasing a card or want a second one, this is where you would find them. We didn't arrive at the parks until late afternoon today and the kiosks closer to the park entrance were out of guides. This picture was taken at a kiosk between Little Mermaid and Paradise Gardens.

I've never watched the culinary demos at Food & Wine before. Yesterday we decided to check it out because Duff Goldman was there. It was super entertaining, especially since the Disney MC seemed to know him from previous years. Their rapport and banter was fantastic! He made a gummy Stitch.

My only complaints are that, while I love this year's F&W print, the background was too bright. Also, the camera on the chef's kitchen didn't zoom at all. We couldn't see the detail of what he was doing.

We saw Duff at Food & Wine a couple years ago, and I agree he is very entertaining. He was probably the most entertaining of the presenters we have seen at the demos over the years. Agree with you fully that the display of what is actually cooking is terrible. They could do so much better but clearly have no interest in investing in the technology to do so.

Are the lines always this long?

30+ mins to either pre wait for a booth to open or 30 mins after it opens seems to me like a bad system

You're talking about register lines, right? I was there on Friday and Saturday and didn't see long lines to pick up food.

My suggestion would be to walk towards Paradise Gardens. The lines at the register by Cluck a Doodle Moo were much shorter that those at the front of the park.

Sunday it was PACKED at DCA, and there were long lines to pay for food, and super long lines to pick up the food.

OK, I'm finally getting around to reading all the posts in this thread. I know that Disneyland/DCA is considered a "locals" park, but all the entertainment for F&W is on F/S/S. This means I have to choose between the entertainment at DCA on Friday 3/14 or going to DLP for Fantasmic!/fireworks. Bah humbug!
