I hope food and wine brings back the blueberry pancake cold brew. I LOVE that stuff! When do they usually announce the foods they are going to have?

Bookings for the tasting seminars plus hotel events and Carthay Circle experiences went live today in case anyone was interested in those.

Has anyone done the beverage seminars? If so, how are they?
I've done a wine seminar and 3 or 4 cocktail seminars. I wasn't a big fan of the wine one but that's because we drink a lot of wine and found the choice mediocre (I wasn't surprised by this). The information was interesting, so if you want to learn something, that is fun since you can ask questions about the process, etc.

I enjoy the cocktail ones since you actually make the cocktail with a bartender showing you the steps and everything is already portioned out so you don't really have to think. You then get to drink the cocktail, of course. I don't think they're a bad deal for only $25, especially since this is Disney.

Thanks for sharing! I was shocked by the $25 price for a Disney event. For the wine seminar, is it like thimble sized tastings at that price? 😄

The mixology one sounds intriguing. I guess I have to make my decision soon!

I had to scroll way back in my pictures to see what the pours looked like 😂

I know mine is going to be an unpopular opinion but I'm seriously not impressed with this year's offerings. There's only a handful that look intriguing to me and a couple of those are drinks. Oh well. Just not my year I guess.

Completely agree, including the events. We normally do a few of the sig events, as well as tastings or cocktail classes. Just not motivated by the line up this year.

Am I missing something? I only see 7 food booths and not the cheese one at all. I'm forgetting the official name of that booth.

Confection Purrfection with the SuperKitties will be back at the Hollywood Backlot Stage. Saturdays - Wednesday, Feb 28 - April 21

According to ThemePark IQ, space is limited in the cupcake decorating class. Guests (3-11 yrs old) can sign up to participate 45 min before showtime.

This is great! My daughter loved it last year and asks if she can do it again every time she sees the stage.

So you don't have to buy the sip and savor pass though, right? There is really only a few offerings that are interesting us this year, we can just go up to that particular booth and order something, correct?

Yes, you can order individually or with a S&S pass.

For what it is worth, you don't need to go up to each booth to purchase an item. Order pay for everything you want at one (any) food booth register. Your receipt will list the items your ordered and that you paid. When you are ready to pick up your items, just take the receipt directly to each booth. The CM will cross off the item on your receipt, indicating that you picked it up. Just make sure you don't lose the receipt.
