If the DC National discount expires in Sept. what do you do to recieve the discount after that date??? Or when does the new discount for DC members come out???

Don't know, hopefully Disney/National will extend it as Sept. 30 approaches. I think the DC contract code is being accepted by the website for later reservations. I received 2 coupons for National in the mail today. 1free day, and the other for $20.00 off. They were in my United Mileage Plus statement and are good until 04/30/02.:D

I recently made reservations for 10/20 - 10/28 using the DC code from the DC website and it gave me the full 20 % disc. When I tried using the Free Day Coupon from DC with a 9/30 expir. date it wouldn't take it; I found a differen free day coup. with a 4/30/02 exp. date which it took in conjunction with the DC disc.

I called National and 2 different people told me that
the current Disney contract # does not 'expire' on their end. They said I could still use it for Nov. travel.

just thought I'd mention it....

The contract says it will expire 9/30/01, but it will most likely be renewed and is still being accepted. The coupon on the other hand has yet to be renewed and is not valid after 9/30.

Thanks for the advice i was able to get the DC contract discount at this time.

I called National yesterday, and they said you could only use one coupon when renting, not two. I had the free day coupon and DC, and I could only use one. They said both dicounts were the same. Has anyone used both together? I'm going late September.

I'm pretty sure you can use the Disney Club contract # for a discount and then any coupon you want as long as it hasn't expired.

You just can't use 2 coupons...

I told them I had the DC discount and the Freeday coupon, and they said, no, only one discount. Anyone else know anything about this?

beattyfamily is correct. There is a distinction between the DC contract code and a DC coupon (such as the one for 1 free day with a weekend rental which is currently available). The contract code starts with a 5. The coupon code starts with a 1. You can use one (and only one) contract code and one (and only one) coupon code. The National web site will flag an incorrect entry of either number and also flags expired coupons. For the DC contract code, you need to have your DC membership number (most easily provided by carrying the card along). For a coupon code, you need the coupon (which can be printed at the DC site if you did not receive it in the mail or have already used it, like I did last month). I used both together and have a ressie for mid-July for a week-long rental again using both contract and coupon codes. I just hand my printed copy of the coupon and my DC card to the attendant at the kiosk when I leave the EA.

both are correct answers. On this transportation board I have a post of EA basics, read it over, it explains almost everything very clearly.
