Touringplans.com says to avoid the MK on Fri. Sept. 23rd but Sat. is OK. I would think that Sat. would be more crowded (no school on weekends). Any thoughts on this?
I have learned the hard way to avoid Magic Kingdom on Saturdays at all costs. lol My ONLY exception is if we need see Spectro, and Saturday is the only day they are having it. Then, we will hop over before the parade, and leave. Saturdays are just the worst at MK!
Yes, dazed and confused is my normal frame of mind. But thanks to those who tried to answer my question. I will leave my plan to visit the MK on Fri. as is.

Sept 23rd is listed as being open for EMH in the AM. I suspect that's why they state it's not the park you want to visit on that day. If you're staying on site take advantage of the early entry and if it gets too crowded move to another park. Of course that only works if you have park hopper tickets. I used to plan my visits on the basis of EMH. I'd go to the park which had EMH the day before figuring most of the crowd did that park the day before. That may be why they state Saturday is a good day for MK.
I've been so many times I now go without firm plans but keep an eye on how EMH might impact the parks. I sleep late and hit my favorites by traveling from park to park.
