It is darn near impossible to find a hotel that accommodates a family of 6. We are checking into a home in Orlando on 10/4. We thought we'd drive down on the 3rd and overnight in Daytona. The kids are 12, 9, 4 & 2. We were originally going to do MNSSHP, but we figured we could spend a day at the beach for less money that the party and costumes would cost.

Any hotel recommendations? We stayed once before in a cheap hotel that I can't remember, and it was anything but desirable. We're hoping to find something better this time.

Maybe Cocoa Beach? Something along the coast off 95. We want to be a short drive from Orlando as we check into the house at 3 and have dinner ressies at Boma at 5.

I imagine we'd get to Florida a little late on the 3rd so we'd have the morning of the 4th, up until after lunch, to enjoy whatever place we decide to stop at.

Oceanwalk is a really nice resort right on the beach. It's possible to get a rental from an owner here (timeshare resort that is points based so one night is possible).
