We (DH, DS(14), & I) are spending a couple nights at the Shores Resort & Spa in Daytona Beach Shores, after our Universal trip. We'll be there July 28th & 29th. I'm looking for family entertainment for the evenings. Something other than the usual movies, mini golf, go karts, arcades, etc. You get the idea. We enjoy comedy, good dinner shows, plays, concerts, etc. Things that adults enjoy, but are PG13 rated. ;) Our DS thinks he's an adult already, & doesn't really enjoy typical kid things. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :)

Here are some websites on Daytona Beach/Volusia County:

Here is one for a theatre--they are doing The Threepenny Opera while you are there:

Here is the website for the Daytona Cubs baseball team--it is reasonably priced, fun family event, lots of fan involvement between innings. When you are there, they are in town. Saturday night they have fireworks.

I believe there are also some evening, sunset boat cruises.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the links. :) I'll check them out.

We're considering Teauila's Hawaiian Dinner Show. Has anyone been? It's much cheaper than the Luaus in the Orlando area. I'm wondering how good it could be for that price. :teeth:

Anyone have any more suggestions? TIA :sunny:
