Daytime Online Crop Saturday Oct 22nd- Moderator has to cancel but you can still chat

Reddy, I'm really impress that you can scrap almost all of your pages before your vacation. Do you guys do the same thing each trip or do you make all your touring plans in advance? Even though I usually have a pretty good plan by the time we leave, it doesn't mean that we will remember to take pictures of everything. Although, if I had spent a great deal of time scapping pages in advance; I might be more inclined to take pictures to fit my los.

HI ladies. It's a drive by before I have to leave for DS11's soccer game...
Then I think we are going to get ready for ZooBoo downtown tonight...

Hope everything is okay Rebecca with your family... Prayers and pixie dust!

I took over 5,000 pictures on the last trip alone, We go for a week at a time, boys won't watch most of the shows so I don't do them but most rides we will ride at least twice. We go to each park at least twice, I know that I needed at least 5 pictures at each country in WS but since I knew my boys would miss behave I got at least 7 so I could pick the best of the group then crop to fit the page.

I'm also willing to remove pages that just didn't fit or I didn't get enough pictures for, I had 2 LOs for Pirates of the Caribean - one didn't make the album (my sister claimed that one anyways) I also have a LO for Raiders Show but boys have acted up both times we went to HS so that one is put back again (I think I will use it for a trip without boys - unless we get to next time but I'm hoping for some extra help so part of us can see that show)

Good Afternoon! Looks like some of you have been busy today. I just got home from my drive across the state. I did stop for lunch at Epcot and enjoyed a few more food and wine booths. I think after I finish the swaps I am working on I will do my MIL's Disney album (from our trip with them in the spring) and then work on a Food and Wine Album for myself.

I am going to veg out for a little while to recover from driving then maybe do some swap work. I will stop by again later and see how everyone is doing as well as look at Reddy's MK album.

My family is all fine- just needed someone to watch the kids while my brither was on a 24 hour observation for his cardiomyapthy and my SIL had a follow up from her sinus/brain surgery last year.

5,000 -- wow!! I think the most we have taken is around 3,000. My kiddos start getting antsy if we stop too long between attractions. They just don't get "stopping to smell the roses".

I have always been a picture taker so my boys are used to stopping but I have to be quick - which is why I love cropping, I do think I need to save up for a new camera, I want one that will take 3 pictures each time I click (had a waterproof that did this - loved the differents in the different shots)

I decided against adding another LO - the pictures really weren't that good

I need to do the travel which includes visiting a zoo & a muesum (those aren't in the 5,000 count) but they aren't started since I wasn't sure if we do them or not - I think I need to get Grandpa's ablum & get caught up with the reg one, haven't got past Christmas yet on it.

That album is great, too! Looking at those pictures makes me want to go back. :sad1: I need to get caught up on my swaps, so I can spend some time working on albums. I'm so far behind I'll ever get caught up.

I want to go back too but we have to get a few bills paid off first so I'm hoping to go before Richard turns 18 - that is the goal anyways

I understand about those pesky bills. My DS had oral surgery and partial braces this year, and it looks like my oldest DD will have the same (except her braces will be a full set) in '12. We could have a great time at WDW for what that cost. :scared1:

I had a dentist say I needed them but my parents didn't do it since he wanted to pull 4 of my teeth to make room but he didn't explain that to my parents, when they asked why, it was because he said too & that was all he was willing to say

after I had my wisedom teeth amoved - mine straighten up alot - not perfect but alot better, still have a bit of an overbite but at least my parent didn't go into more debt for them

I was able to do finish one group for the DHS swap this afternoon. I ended up having to take DD shopping for some jeans. It is really starting to cool off here so capris are cutting it anymore. I love fall in New England, chili, stews and soups for dinner, yum!

Both my kiddos had to have braces, we are lucky to have good insurance that covers most of the cost. My biggest gripe is the once a month trip to the ortho's office. I have been doing this for the past 6 years and I can't wait to be finished! DS had them first and right before he got them off, DD's went on. It wasn't supppsed to happen that way but DS ended up having his bottom set on for 4 years.

Rebecca happy to hear everything was okay with your family. Hope you can get some rest after your drive.

Reddy, love your MK album!!

Cassey

Wow, 4 years is a long time! My DS had some major jaw alignment problems, but he only had his on for 6 mos. When he gets all of his perm teeth in, he will have to have a full set, but our ortho uses something called Sure Smile. Her patients avg 12 to 14 mos with adjustments every 6 wks. Unfortunately, neither my dh or myself have dental plans at work, so $$ have to come out of savings. My kids actually feel bad about us having to spend money on their teeth. On everything else, they act like we have a big ole money tree in the back yard. lol

I think my kids teachers think we have one of those money trees too
$75 for a yearbook - he will only have the the school picture in it (his class is usually left out - one year they left his class out completey, added a sticky page to the back, of just the kids in that class, rest of the school got to pretend there was no special ed that year:headache:)

then school t-shirts, money for treats, supplies after the back to school sales plus school lunches went up in price too

$75 for a yearbook. Ouch!! I think ours are only $30, but there are only around 200 kids in K-12. I would have been :headache:, too, if mine were left out. I seem to remember from way back when I was on the yb staff, we had check list to make sure that didn't happen.

there is about 150-200 kids per grade here but unless you are in something they don't have any of the "fun" pictures
I thought they would had added the sticky page to all but the girl across the street is in my sons grade so I checked hers - it was too expensive to add to all so only the 5 kids in the class got that page but they got to use the page for a "fun" page since they didn't include them yb staff didn't think 5 kids should have a page so they had all of their kids on a page instead, the pricpal got really mad when he found out - those parents are n't allow on the yb staff anymore (even if they do have younger kids)

Our yb is down by high kids, but they have a teacher for a sponsor. I'm pretty sure that all the kids are included in the fun pics.

World Series Update: Rangers are down 1 - 0 after 1 1/2 innings.
