Days of our Lives streaming only

Sad :( While I’m not happy about thus, it was probably a long time coming.

I've been watching it streaming for a few years now. First on the NBC app and then on Peacock when it moved it over there. Thankfully you don't have to have the premium version to watch. It's been on the free version.

You will need Premium to watch it after September 12th. $4.99 a month or $50 a year.

I hope this doesn’t kill Days. Peacock doesn’t have a whole lot to offer if you have Hulu.

Really? Thankfully I have premium now through my internet provider. If I had to pay for Peacock to watch it, that would end the 36 years of watching it every day.

That’s what it says in the article Sam posted. I bought a year in May. I think it was on sale. I hate to admit it but I’ll probably keep paying as long as Days remains. For me it’s been over 50 years. My grandmothers, aunts, mom, stepmom all watched it. It makes me feel connected to them, my maternal grandmother especially. She would call me every week to discuss what was going on.

I was quite sad to hear but each year there have been cancelation concerns. I'm happy it wasn't canceled. I have found it nice when I was way behind and caught up on Peacock. It went a lot faster without the regular commercials.

I don’t even get a choice.
Canada can’t get Peacock here.

I have a split work schedule and Days airs during my lunch hour. So on my at home days I watch live and on my remote days I stream it on YouTubetv. When I need to catch up I watch on Peacock, but the free version which has been nice. Having t pay for yet another service may sadly end my 25 years of viewing.

I don't watch, but I totally get that. I'll be sad for you if it ever ends.

Never watched any of those daytime "soap operas" and surprised they have lasted for so many years. Once in a while when channel flipping I would watch for a few minutes and the acting always seemed so amateurish. I think moving popular shows to those pay services will eventually back-fire since people aren't looking for ways to spend MORE money watching various TV shows.

Ken Corday said people in Canada would be able to watch somehow because it's distributed by Sony (I tried to find the article to see exactly how he worded it, but I couldn't). I'm not sure if that means you will have a way to stream it or how exactly you can access it.

I understand people being upset about the change for lots of reasons. I'm wondering if the options were cancellation or this move. Thankfully, I am able to get Peacock (already have it actually) but I know not everyone can.

We used to have DirecTv and they wanted $175 per month. We dropped them, and we now have multiple streaming services and are paying less than $60. When I say multiple, I mean Peacock, Discovery +, the Hulu bundle that includes Hulu, ESPN, and Disney +, Netflix, and Frndly (that one is only while Married at first sight airs - I cancel when it's not). We also get HBO Max for free because we have Cricket for cell phone and they give it for free. I know this is not an option for everyone but we love it.

I saw we will be able to see Beyond Salem 2 ? Sept 4 th on the Women‘s channel and it will be on Stack Tv a bit later. Nothing about the show it’s self.

Going to be a marathon thing too so not sure if I will watch it or not. Might be nice to see Bo again though.

Corus announced on Sept 2 that starting September 12th, Days of Our Lives will move from Global to W network :) 1pm est/pst.

Is that a network that Canadians generally get included with their TV package? I hope so for our neighbors to the north!! :)
Nope it is an added channel for some . I get it but it is one of the channels I picked with my satellite provider So not extra for me.

Actually watching Beyond Salem 2 marathon on the Woman’s channel that started at 8:00 tonight.

It's always been included in any cable package we've had in the past. We cut the cord in June but still get W network through one of the streaming services we have so I'm a happy camper 😀
