Days Inn Universal or Holiday Inn Universal?

Hi, I need a hotel for 3 nights. It needs to be walking distance to Universal Studios and also the Belz factory outlet mall on I Drive. I think the I Ride trolley stops near these hotels and goes to the Belz mall and so that isn't much of a problem.

Which out of the following would you recommend?

Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites on Kirkman road.
or
Days Inn at Maingate of Universal on Caravan Court?

How long would it take to walk to Universal?

I'd prefer a Holiday Inn over a Days Inn anyday. We stayed at the Amerisuites Universal (just behind Universal) and it took about 10-15 mins. to walk to Universal.

Haven't stayed at that Holiday Inn but the Days Inn on Caravan Court was very run down when we were there in Nov. We will never stay there again.
