Just an FYI for anyone who is flying from Buffalo anytime soon and needs a park and fly package: the Days Inn Buffalo Airport is taking Canadian cash at par....a great savings.

I'm heading there right now! My week park n fly is $89 American. Does that mean they'll accept $89 Canadian?

Thanks! :thumbsup2
My total in American with tax was just over $101. But I only had to pay $100 Canadian. :cool1:
Btw, I met your husband in the lobby, he probably told you I'm the crazy lady who couldn't find her room. :rotfl2:

I heard he ran into you while he was fetching me some extra shampoo and conditioner! :teeth: I was kicking myself that I didn't go with him.

What time is your flight tomorrow? Jetblue or SW? Perhaps I will get a chance to say hi during breakfast, before we head to the airport.

We're flying SW at 11:45am, but knowing my kids, they'll probably be up before the crack of dawn ready to eat. :faint:

And the guy at check in told me it is only until Feb 19th and they won't be extending it. Cause we fly march 12th again so I prepaid it. I had just enouch CDN cash to pay for the DEC 17th return night DDC 26th and my march 11th. It probably saved me a $120.00 this offer was supposed to be done on DEC 11th. I got an email from them saying they had this offer. But I was crazily surprised when I got there and they were still doing it.

Thanks for the great tip. This is our first time flying from Buffalo. Our flight is 5:40 in the morning. What time should we leave Days Inn?

You will want to.be at the airport about an hour to an hour 15 mins. It shouldn't be busy that time of the morning.

I just booked Days Hotel for our August trip and the lady mentioned that they might run this promotion again (fingers crossed). She said that I should at least ask about it on my arrival (I didn't even mention this to her; she offered this information).
I have a question re: Peace Bridge $89 deal - I know that Disneylover99 has used this offer before. I was told to 'pick up' my package at the Peace Bridge Duty Free store - silly question (but we don't usually cross at the Peace Bridge) do we stop at the Canadian Duty free before we cross into the US to get our package? Or is there a place after we cross?
Thanks for your help!

We've used this deal twice. If you stop, you stop at the Duty Free on the Canadian side. However there is zero reason to stop. The deal included a $5 coupon from duty free and we used it the first time as we were stopping to buy something anyway. We drove straight to the hotel the second time and checked in with no issues.

For anyone looking to book Days ... ParkSleepFly.com is a little cheaper for a Friday/Saturday night than the duty free deal. It was $89 for the Friday I needed, I used a $5 off code that I found on their site to save the $5 admin fee they charge, and with taxes it came out to $101.24 USD for the night and 11 days of parking.
Not as cheap as an at par deal would be, but I will cancel if that gets extended to my dates.
