hi, we requested to be in the Hawaii building at the poly. Can someone tell me a little bit about the daybeds? I've Googled pictures but it's hard to tell the dates and whether they were pre or post renovation. Are they more like couches that you put sheets on or does the bed pull down with a regular mattress it was hard to tell from some of the photos which was which. I'm getting a little worried about my choice because in some of the pictures I looked at the rooms look very dated and dark. Any insight on the recent rooms would be appreciated. Thank you

It is a fold down couch. Nice mattress but small twin size. The rooms tend to be dark, it bothers some people but not others. The bed will be made up.

You have to book club level to stay in Hawaii it is not a building you can request as it is a separate bookable category.

The Poly thread has lots of photos including the Day bed.

Hawaii building is all club level, so you will only be in that building if that is what you booked. if you have another room category I would change your request. The daybeds are fine, they flip down to make a basically twin size bed, it's not a folded mattress like in a traditional pull out, and they are fairly comfortable I thought (better than a pull out for sure). The rooms are decorated on the dark side but it's brighter than most pictures look I think, and overall a very nice resort.

Your questions have been answered, but a couple of pics in case helpful (these are Hawaii, FWIW):

Daybed there to the left... in the couch position.

Daybed there to the right... also in couch position (sorry, I don’t have any pics of it as a bed).

thank you for the pictures. I heard club level does have turn down service, do you think they would make up the bed each night?
