We will be staying at BWV and WLV in the coming months. During our stay our daughter and her family would like to come over and visit. Day visitors at BWV are not much problem since Boardwalk is a public access destination. I am concerned about them visiting us at WLV since access is more difficult. Coming from off grounds they would have to go through the MK parking booths. Since they don’t have a car pass in the window they could be charged for MK parking which isn’t right. I am sure this is not a new problem but how do you deal with this issue?

No problem... have them get in the furtherest right hand lane for autos (there is a bus lane even further right). Most of the time the attendant will let folks though, but if he asks, they should say they are going to WVL to visit you. Likewise at the gate to WVL, have them say they are coming to visit you. It's never been an issue, even post 9-11.

just make sure that you call security and tell them your visitors are arriving - I would also tell front desk - so they can easily find you.

Or you could have them go in the back way, down Bonnet Creek parkway when it dead ends, left on Vista Blvd, through the security post, past WL, right when you get to the resort road (? Florida Way) then right on Timberline road at the light (you'd turn left for Poly and TTC).

We had friends visit us when we were at VWL last month. I called the front desk and was transferred to the guard shack. He took my name, room number, name of visitor and the approximate time my guests would be arriving. We received a call when they got to the gate and we met them at the main entrance. Hope this helps.
