Hi,

I've never done a day trip to DLRP. Living in Kent so really should have done one by now.

What's the best/easiest way of doing a day trip?

Thanks

I've done it!. I did this a few months ago, it was with an organised trip company. If you search into google there are a couple of companies.:)

I'm also going to do it again, but organise it myself e.g eurostar.

The only problem with the Eurostar is that you only get 6 hours in DLRP. Doesn't really seem worth it to me, espeacially as the quote I just got was for £298.89 for 2 adults!!

Eurostar would certainly be the best option for you, although I really think there's too much there for just one day.

If you;ve paid for the train you should add a night I'd say. I worried I won;t get it all done in 4 days! And I've been before..

If you are jsut going for the day I;d suggest getting the Brits guide. it;s really good - when are you planning on going? I'll sell you my copy (brand new, wont need it after July 9th) for some money off. :-)

Yeh i don't think its worth it, having looked at quotes it was cheaper to stay two nights at santa fe!, for two ppl, than a day trip.lol.

But i didn't book my day trip, so it wasn't my choice...but i'm happy to go if i must!!!.lol:rolleyes1 :rotfl:

You can pick up the Eurostar if you book early enough for about £130 for 2 adults. Still would make a day trip around the £200 mark with tickets.

I'm planning on going in September. Thanks for the kind offer of a guide, I've been so many times that I really don't need one but the offer was very nice.

Last time we went, we had 5 days, 4 nights in September and we had done EVERY ride in the Disney park in the first day! Mind you when you go on September 11th, just 2 yrs after the fatefull day in NYC big places tend to be rather empty :) The longest we waited was for 2 mninutes and that was at Casey's Hotdogs

When I have gone for the day I have driven & gone by Eurostar. Driving gives you the most amount of time in the parks but can make for a long day.

I went recently by Eurostar, day trips are fab if you get a good price for the train etc. Plus all the things you miss out on doing gives you a reason for going back.
I think in the end i went for the day for just over £100 that included my park ticket.
