Day trip to the beach

My sister and I will be spending 10 days in WDW in January/February 2022, but would like to take a day trip to a beach. We won't have a vehicle. What's our best options for getting to a beach for the day but coming back to our Disney hotel for the night?

Renting a vehicle from the Car Care Center. They will pick you up at your resort in the morning, then drop you off after you return.

Renting a car for the day is likely your best bet, as mentioned by the pp above you can rent a vehicle via the Disney Car Care Center which offers a free shuttle to/from your resort.. The nearest beaches to the Orlando area would be the Cocoa Beach area;

If you are looking for a quieter and more nature-centric beach experience away from crowds, I would recommend the Canaveral National Seashore, it's a beautiful national park with miles of nature preserve and beaches.. It also borders the Kennedy Space Center to the south so you can get some nice views of the various launch pads in the distance from the beaches..

If you are looking for a more traditional and urban beach experience with access to restaurants/shops/entertainment/etc. then driving straight to city center of Cocoa Beach would suffice..
