Day trip to Disneyland Paris

Quick question. My wife are spending 2 weeks in Paris this June and we are debating if we want to spend a day at Disneyland Paris during our time there but we do not know if we want to give up a day in Paris. What at end people thoughts on this.

if you have 2 weeks in Paris, then yes I would do a day trip.
Bare in mind though that the general park opening time is 10am, and that hotel guests will be inside for EMH from 8am.

I havent done it but alot of people on here and on another Disney forum have done a day trip, the train is very easy to manage and its abut 40 minutes journey time.

Also read up on the reality of Disneyland Paris and people expectations of the park. I describe it as an American style theme park with the cultural and social aspect of France, basically Frenchified Disney. Dont expect the American Parks to be scooped up, made smaller and transported to France. Disneyland Paris is a very different experience to Disneyland California, both are unique in their own way. Disneyland Paris is the same but different. Walking down Main Street, it will feel similar and familiar but you will notice things are different

I think it is worth a day trip if you are a Disney fan. We are in a similar situation and will be doing a day trip as well on 7 week Europe trip that includes 9 days in Paris. We have been before however and go to Disneyland in California every year. So the day trip we take to DLP will be somewhat "targeted" - which is good for such a short visit. I do think it is worthwhile seeing. It is a very beautiful park, and like PP said, different from the American parks.
