Day Six: Back to Mickeys House and an Afternoon in Winter Haven
Our cast of characters includes: Me (Jen) 31, planner of all things Disney; Bill (DH) 32, the yin to my yang; BJ (DS) almost 14, the reason for this trip his graduation from middle school; Nico (DF) 14 BJs compadre; Bob (35) DB, Gina (35) DSIL, Steven (DN) 8, Brianna (DN) 2-1/2.
We woke up late after a fantastic day at Discovery Cove. We had an 11:30 PS at Crystal Palace so that Brianna could meet her hero Piglet. We arrived at MK at about 10:30 and breezed through security. The crowds were MUCH thinner then on Monday. We grabbed Fastpasses to Pooh, took gads of pictures around the castle, and mosied our way to CP.
The food was good. I am more of a Breakfast Buffet person (this was the beginning of lunch) but the food was good and the character interaction was great! Tigger in particular was fantastic, completely acting the part bouncing from table to table. My nieces eyes were as big as saucers as Piglet made his way to meet her. To me this moment was worth the entire week. My DSIL and I kept snapping pics of each others families. We met Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger and Piglet.
We took tons of pictures and then made our way to the Pooh ride. It is definitely geared for little ones, but it is a quality ride.
We then headed to Toontown so I could get my picture taken with Mickey Mouse. It was on my list of things that HAD to be done. The family looked great, except Mickeys ear cut off my husbands face. We then headed to a cute store at the Fantasyland Character Festival where we had a ball trying on hats and acting silly. I was snapping pics of the boys when an employee approached us. I thought we were going to be chastised for trying on hats and taking pics. Instead, a wonderful CM said, Now Mom, shouldnt you be in the pictures too? She started taking pics of the four of us in our silly hats and poses. It was a great time. We were there almost an hour!
We then headed to the Railroad and took it to Main Street, as we had to head to Winter Haven to visit with Bills parents. Bobby, Gina and the little ones were headed to the Poly to go to the Luau.
We got off the train at Main Street and who did we see but Daisy! I was thrilled to grab a pic as I hear she doesnt come out much. We spent some time at Exposition Hall. We got pics at the exhibits and sat and watched Steamboat Willy and a few other cartoons. It was a great way to leave MK. The four of us enjoyed the time vegging.
We went to Winter Haven for a BBQ, a few games of pool with Dad, and golf cart races with the boys. Afterwards, we headed back to the Dolphin to swim, play Mad Libs and filled out postcards to send home. Tomorrow would be another early day as we were packing in two Universal Parks in one day. It would be our only true commando day of the week.

Looks like you all had a great time! I'm glad to see that Disney has changed the Ride Photos a bit, gives us a reason to get new ones next trip
