Hi guys
26 days to go and counting :)

We end this years trip with 4 nights in the Royal Pacific and have a late flight out of Orlando on Virgin at 1800.
Usually we are on United to Newark early afternoon which is perfect for the usual 11am check out but with the later flight this year we hope to spend most of the day in the park.

Has anyone managed to get a late check out or a day room in the RPR in particular? I've tried contracting the hotel direct but they are a bit vague in their answer so far , wait until you arrive and ask is the responce so far.

Be nice to know if anyone has done this so we know it could be an option. don't fancy checking out first thing , hit the parks and back to the hotel without a shower before trooping of to the airport.....also don't fancy spending a whole nights rate just to guarantee the room on the other hand.

Any words of wisdom as usual appreciated.

Glenn

I don't know about RPR but at the Disney resorts there are showers by the main pool in the rest rooms.

We get bell services to store our bags then just shower and change in the pool side rest rooms.

We stay at DVC resorts where there are absolutely no late check outs!

you might be allowed a 1pm chexck out but not later so probably not enough time anyway

but they won't guarantee it until check in and they might even charge you for this

definitely store your bags with bell service

unfortunately the only way to keep your room is to book another night

Thanks for that guys , kinda what i figured. I'm not going to spend £130+ for the extra night , that be valuable spending money in Diagon Alley :lmao:

We'll just aim to have a spare bit of time to spend in the AC in the hotel to cool down and have a change of clothes ready in the hand luggage.

We have been allowed 2 hours before . You can use the showers in the gym changing rooms. Hairdriers and toiletries provided
