Hi all

I am at present trying to organise my ADR's for our Disneymoon, with the main day being our Wedding Day. This is my plan for the day of the Wedding and I just wanted your opinions as to whether this was too much for our Wedding Day.

06.00 Beauty Speciale
07.00 Room Service
09.00 Randy arrives for pics
09.30 Pick up and go to SBP, STVS should be there
10.00 Wedding at SBP
11.00 Pictures with Randy at Ceremony site
12.00 Pictures with Randy at The Grand Floridian
13.00 Lunch at Citricos, in dress if possible?
17.45 Dinner at Victoria and Alberts, in dress if possible?
20.45 Speciality Cruise, hoping to see Illuminations also hoping to get reservation:wizard:

Does anyone think I may have crammed in too much on our Wedding Day? I really want Victoria and Alberts on our Wedding night and as we will be at The Grand Floridian anyway, I figured Citricos might be a good place to go to as it seems to have a great rep, I don't want to go straight back to our hotel after our Wedding and I really want to wear my dress for as long as possible.
As for the Illuminations, well the Speciality Cruise is something I just thought of and I figured it would be a lovely way to end a perfect day. However again, I'm not sure if I can wear my dress on the cruise, does anyone know if I can?

So what do you guys think, too much or manageable?

I might not be much help, but I'll try..... I have heard of other brides wearing their dress on the Wishes cruise, it just might get dirty!

Are you having Randy for an extra hour? I would have thought your 11am photo's would be earlier than that (maybe 10:30?) so the GF photo's a little earlier too?

As far as I'm aware, you can wear your wedding clothes anywhere out of the park's for your meals, but you might want to mention it when you make your ADR's so they can seat you a little more out of the way of 'thru'-traffic' and give you a little more space. Just a thought - will you actually be hungry for an early dinner, as you are having a late-ish lunch by the time you've finished eating?

Edited to add another thought - are you having the limo for the standard 4 hours? If so, how will get get back to your hotel after lunch, as your 4 hours will be 9:30 - 1:30 (assuming lunch lasts more than 30 mins). Also, you said you didn't want to go back to your hotel after the ceremony, what about a romantic walk along the beach near GF / WP - or might that not be allowed in case you are in the vicinity of another bride in her dress (Disney doesn't like other brides to see each other in their dresses for obvious reasons).

Hi!

I can't really help with the other questions, just wanted to make a suggestion as far as the timing for lunch & dinner. You may want to rework the timing for Citricos/V&A or make sure to have a light lunch and time to take a nap if keeping these times. We have been to V&A's a few times and it is a wonderful experience, definitely somehting that you should keep in your schedule. However, they do serve a lot of courses so it's easy to get very full. If spending the $$$ to do V&A you will want to make sure that you have enough room in your stomach and are awake enough to enjoy it all! Just my 2 cents! HTH.

Yeah, that was a worry of mine that we may be too full to enjoy V & A. The problem is if we don't have lunch we'll likely be really hungry all day. We'll be up probably around 05.00am and our breakfast will likely be a few pastries as we'll be getting our make up and hair done. I can't move V & A as if I go for the later seating I'll miss the Illuminations (Speciality Cruise) still hoping I get it. Hmm, I may have to reconsider going to Citricos that day.

That's what I would suggest. How about the GF CAfe for lunch? They have a little bit lighter stuff I think and you can be in and out in time to take a nap between that and V&A. I DEFINITELY would not cancel doing V&A, it's just such an awesome experience. Make sure that when you book and they ask if you are celebrating a special occasion, you let them know that you are getting married that day. We went most recently in Nov with DF and my parents to celebrate the start of planning our wedding and they had a cool suprise for us when we sat down! It was great!

This is one of my worry, we can enjoy too weak A: The question is, if we did not eat lunch, we may really hungry all day. Wwe will likely be for breakfast cakes, because we will get our makeup and hair done.
