Cast: Me - DH 25 & Her - DW 24
Date: Spring Break (March 17 - 24)
Let me start off by saying that Rocking Rollercoaster is DW's favorite ride - much like Dinosaur is mine. We don't really know why, but something about those rides makes us giggle and do what only kids do - jump up and down saying "Again, Again!!".
So, that morning upon arriving at MGM, DW decided she wanted to ride Rocking Rollercoaster not once, but twice - making it her third time that trip.
Afterwards, we walked by and noticed that "Who wants to be a Millionaire" was just letting people in, so we jumped in line and took our seats - ready for our chance to win tons of cash and prizes (well, hats and pens I guess..). DW and I were fast on the keys, usually correct and yet never made it onto the top ten list. Disappointed and feeling like sore losers, we jumped on the boat and ended up in Epcot (the Worldshowcase entrance) for some wonderful international cuisine.
We ended up having lunch at China and I was very impressed with the food (DW doesn't love Chinese the way that I do, so she was merely "filled" with her meal). We went to Norway and decided to enjoy the adventure of the Maelstrom again! I just love that nordic ride! Because we had done such a great job touring the first four days, DW decided that she wanted to do a bit of her favorite activity - Shopping. So it was off to Mouse Gear and then Downtown Disney to see what fun things to take home with us. I bought a couple of these wonderful raised relief coffee mugs depicting Pooh and Mickey with history written on them and the year they were "born" marked as an est. year. I'll take and post pictures if anyone is interested in seeing one.
After that, we retreated to the resort and had supper and watched the fireworks, preparing for our next day and sorting through all our purchases.
Day 7 Soon...
