We were all starting to slow, so a quite day was in order. We spent the morning with the children in the pool. Had the Mighty Ducks pool almost to ourselves when we surfaced at 09:00am.
We had enough splashing around in the sun, so after lunch at the Food Court, we headed to Downtown Disney. This was all new to us. We wandered around the Marketplace. Suzanne and myself were taken by the Rainforest Café, great fun. We purchased some Lego for a birthday present for Liam, while the children played in the Lego building area. Kerri and Suzanne then headed of to the World of Disney while Liam finished his Lego masterpiece. The girls purchase some more pins. We then walked through Pleasure Island. It will be a few years before we get to come and play in here at nights.
We explored Downtown West Side. Suzanne could not bring herself to walk past the Candy Caldron without going in to sample their wares. I have been informed by the girls that it is very nice chocolate.
We headed back to the hotel and we had a message waiting from our timeshare closing company, they wanted us to come round to sign the paperwork for our DVC resale purchase. We had a quite evening chilling in the room as I was going my usual very bright lobster red (even with Factor 30) and living in the shade. I might have some skin left in the morning. The children thought it was quite funny when they hit my back they got an interesting reaction.
Lights out at 9:30pm.
Mission accomplished for today, batteries are recharging.
Tomorrow Pick-up the Hire Car, Back to Downtown Disney (or Let us shop!) and a Dis Meet.
