Day 6 Lounged by the pool until the seafood buffet in Parrot Cay. On the way to our table we went by the dessert display. I stopped to take a look and I heard No! No! No! It was a CM guarding her station. She had a smile on her face as I left. I took the long way to the food line and just happened to meander by the dessert. She came running over and blocked me again. It had turned into a running gag. As I went for seconds, she glared from in front of the cakes. When it was time for dessert. She stopped me from grabbing a plate and had already dished up her favorites for me to try, which were incredible. I then went to the Serving Manager to Complain about Ana from Brazil. They sent me to guest services and I sent her a thank you note and told her she did a good job protecting their food from me. I also put her name on the comment card at the end of the cruise.
We saw Disney Dreams another great show. The Lion King number was awesome. I still get goose bumps thinking about it.
TIP: Plug your ears everytime Mickey & Minnie come out. The place goes nuts.
We hit the stores for one last souvenir grab, before the rush of Friday.
We dressed in our best oufits, and headed up to Palo for our dinner.
The wind was really blowing and the seas were at their highest on our trip 8-13 feet.
The problem with Palo as it is the highest and farthest aft, it way swaying and bumpy.
The service, wine, pizzas, food, décor, servers & view were the highlight of our cruise. The soufflé was out of this world.
My DW started to get queasy and had to leave halfway through the dessert. I finished hers. I had 3 servers ask if anything was wrong, I told them it was just the motion of the ship. When I got to our room on deck 2 midship, she was starting to feel better.
Day 7
Castaway Key was drifting into view as we woke up. The ship docked while we were doing the usual routine. We waited in our room until we say people heading out. We had our picture taken at the picture spot. We braved the Family beach and went snorkeling for 45 minutes. As we were getting ready in the water about 5 fish came up and watch what we were doing. We saw the sunken Mickey and took our obligatory pictures with our underwater camera.
We hiked to the shops and then the bike path to Serenity Bay. We grabbed a quick bite at the BBQ place by the beach and saw a empty hammock close by. I ordered a Konk Kooler, laid in the hammock, exhaled, and thought THIS IS PARADISE. I didnt want to leave as Castway Cay was by far the best stop.
We boarded early and sat by the adult pool to an empty ship. Everybody was on shore.
We got ready for dinner and tipped our Host after he put all our towel animals for the week on the bed.
Dinner was great as Mihaela gave me 2 salads, and 2 entrees. When the food was cleared they came out with their flags and everybody cheered. Mihaela took our orders for dessert (Can you tell I like dessert?) I said surprise me. She then brought me all 4 selections that were on the menu. We tipped the Dining staff and went to the Farewell Variety show.
We stayed up for Til we meet again show in the atrium to get final pictures.
