Well, now, its 7:15am, and I am actually AWAKE, and getting dressed. Why, you ask? Well, being the official <cough>, um, okay, UNofficial WDW Poly Princess, I simply couldn’t go to WDW and not meet up with my fellow princesses, so we were off to Breakfast at Cindy’s! Ah, yes, dining in the castle, a princess could get used to such things! And, of course, I had my own little plans about convincing Prince Charming it was time for a new princess, but I digress...

After we were awake enough to move, mom and I strolled down to the dock to wait for a boat to the MK. We waited...and waited.. and waited a bit more! A boat to the contemporary finally showed up, and we assumed ours wouldn’t be TOO far behind.. But then a while later a 2nd boat came for the Contemporary! It was 8:25, and our PS was for 8:30! Nobody at our stop was going to the Contemporary, so the CM driving the boat asked if anyone had breakfast ressies. We said we did, in 5 minutes, so she was nice enough to take us to the MK instead! Some people carried a HUGE double stroller full of stuff onto the boat, carrying it over their heads, and the CM reprimanded them, as they almost hit several people with it!

We dashed through the gates and down Main Street to the Castle (Um, which way is it again? Oh, that big thing there!..) I informed the CM at the desk that we only had 2 instead of 3, and she made a bit of an upset face, but just told us our table would be ready in a few minutes. We were called soon, and took the elevator up to the restaurant. We got Table 20 right by a window. The restaurant is really beautiful! I think it would make a nice breakfast even without the characters! But then, what fun would THAT be!? :D Snow White was the first at our table, and while she was there, Belle joined her, so I got my picture taken with both at once (Hey, I TOLD you I’m officially 5 years old while at WDW!) Mary Poppins came next (I was quite tempted to offer her a packet full of sugar..), and then Aladdin. Aladdin asked where we were from, and when I told him he said “Missouri! That’s a long carpet ride away from here!” Cindy was the last to stop by, and she signed an autograph for my friend Tiffany back home who had wanted to come, but couldn’t get away from work. I asked Cindy where the Prince was, and she said he was out riding horses with the King. Drat! This is what happens when all of us Princesses end up sharing just one Prince Charming!

The food was your average Disney breakfast food.. prepared plates of bacon, sausage, french toast with cream cheese, eggs, potatoes, etc. were brought, as well as a fruit plate with watermelon, pineapple, honeydew melon, cantelope. We were also brought a basket of breads. Quite a bit of food, I don’t think I even ate half. Once again, the focus here is on the atmosphere over the food. We spent around an hour and a half at breakfast, and then decided to leave the MK, as it was an EE day, and we knew it would be very crowded soon. We took a bus over to MGM, arriving at about 11. We made our way to Tower of Terror, and picked up FP’s for a return time of 12:50-1:50. Our next stop was the Muppet Vision 3D movie, one of my favorites :) I wish I could get into the pre-show area when there were no people there to take a good look around and take a few pictures- its so cute! After the movie, we went to Toy Story Pizza Planet, where I got a Woody Meal (Pepperoni pizza, medium drink, and its supposed to come with a salad, but they let you substitute cookies if you want :D ) and mom just got a coke, as she wasn’t hungry again quite yet :) I never knew before that there was upstairs seating, but we found that there was! I don’t know how I missed it before. It was pretty empty up there, with only a few full tables, so we just relaxed and sat for quite a whine by a window and people-watched, enjoying the much-needed rest. By now it was approaching our FP time, so we set off across to the other side of the park. On the way, near Star Tours, we saw about ten little kids on a stage in Jedi robes learning lightsaber choreography, and then they got to “fight” Darth Vader. The kids were all so excited, it was adorable! I think I have forgotten to mention that we were there for the Star Wars weekend, so we saw quite a few charachters around. Sadly, no Darth Maul :(

We arrived at Tower of Terror, and zipped through the FP line, and in to the preshow area. After the preshow part in the library, we were all being herded towards the elevators, and it just felt like a big stampede. I overheard someone say “Oh, didn’t you know? Part of the ride is getting TO the ride!” Everyone around us laughed, and continued through the hallway all smushed together. Throughout the ride, mom kept asking “Are we going to drop now?” and I would reply “No, we will be able to see outside before we drop, don’t worry.” Now, am I wrong here, or last year, didn’t the doors open to give you a look out before you dropped? Right?!?! Well, this time, they DIDN’T, so I was caught completly by surprise, and I think that made it even better than the first time :D When I first rode and didn’t know what to expect, I was always bracing myself for it, but this time, it REALLY caught me by surprise! As we exited back from the dark tower into the bright sunlight, I went to put on my sunglasses, and they weren’t there! Looked through my backpack, just to be sure, no sunglasses! Oops! Must have left them on the ride! We went back in where we had come out, and asked a CM in the gift shop if they had a lost and found. He took us back to where you exit the elevators, and sure enough, one of the Bellhops had them! YAY!

Okay, I suppose my note-taking is lacking, but I don’t have much more for what we did this day! We had to have done more than two things at MGM, right? Oh well, memory must be fading at my old age! :D Back at the lodge, mom took a nap and I went down to the pool for a while. The hot tubs were full, so I stayed in the pool for about 15 minutes, and then went back to the room. I wrote a few postcards from my cute little bunk bed, and decided postcard writing would be more fun with a soda and somewhere out of the room, so I changed back into regular clothes and went down to Roaring Forks. I found a very good looking cookie COVERED in sprinkles, so I got that and a cherry coke. I was set! I went up to the 4th floor sitting area to write down some trip notes and finish my postcards. I was sad about this being our last night at the WL, I had gotten very attached! I think it ranks almost up with the Poly now. Don’t worry, no huge name change to “WDW Poly And WL Princess” anytime soon ;) I lay there by the fire thinking about how you don’t really have much time to enjoy the parks while you are in them.. Its laying by the fire and relaxing that you get to think back over what you’ve done, and its then that I really enjoy it. However, I think I could go to WDW and never leave the lodge, and still have a good time!

As I said, I guess my notes sucked for today, so sorry this part of the report isn’t very detailed! I promise things will get better tomorrow :D

Stay tuned for Day 6, Part 1!
