Day 4- The Ragin' Cajuns dun gon ta see dat Mouse!!

Day 4- Monday

Up up and at em!!!
EE day at AK. We are on the bus by 7:30. I did not check my watch when we arrived, but the gates were already open. We're headed to K.Safari

I have to prod a little, Tink and lil'hook want to stop and shop and stop to look at the beetles in a box that one of the CM is showing. ( I know! I know! I really am a DN-but the whole point of EE is to get the big line building attractions done first- then stop and smell the roses after)

The safari was great as always. We stopped in the middle for about 10 minutes. There was a bird up ahead in the road and they had to get CM to come and get it out of the way.

Next up was ITTBB. I had forgotten about the bursts of air and the loud noises. B.Wen did not care for that at all. Tink had to take her out. Everybody else enjoyed the show- especially the ending.

We head into Dinoland and find a shady spot to feed and change the babies. We ride Dinosaur, Triceratop Spin (really cute), and Primeval Whirl. Imho- this area has much more of a midway look to it than a WDW theme.

We grab fastpasses for Kali River and head to Rainforest Cafe for lunch. The line looked horrible and we did not have PS- but the wait was less than 10 minutes so we were happy. This was our first trip to RFC and we all really enjoyed it.

Grumpy and Pan decided to take the babies back to CBR so Tink and I took the other kids to Kali River. We had to make a mad dash to get there on time. We all really enjoyed the ride and getting soaked was really refreshing as hot as it was. After the ride, we took our turns soaking a few rafts at the machines on the bridge.

We shopped on our way out of the park and when we got to the bus stop our bus was there- great timing. When we got back to the rooms Pan and Grumpy took delight in telling us about all the sympathy they got from people on the bus. 2 dads dealing with 2 strollers and 2 babies. People wanted to know where their mothers were. Of course the guys ate this up!

We all opted to stay and relax at CBR that evening instead of going to MK (it closed at 7:00pm). And yes even a DN can be flexible at times.

We headed to the main pool and the kids had a blast. Tink and her family had dinner at OPR. Grumpy and I strolled our bunch around CBR and had sandwiches in the room later. It was really a nice evening.

Just wondering how you liked CBR. DH and I are staying there in October. I haven't been there is quite some time, so I was curious how you liked the resort.

We really enjoyed the resort. We stayed in Jamaica Bldg 44. We were close to the Jamaica pool and there was playground equipment on our beach, which the kids had fun with. It was really nice to lay out on the hammocks on the beach.

We saw lots of critters at CBR. Ducks, lizards, rabbits, birds of all kinds. I took the baby for a stroll one day and stopped in a nice spot. We were sitting at a picnic table and a little bird plopped down right beside us. DD(7mos) was enchanted. I wish I had brought some bread crumbs with us.

We were usually the first stop with the busses which was nice.

We did not mind the walk to OPR across the bridge, it was very pretty. We bought the mugs and really even being across the water, we got our money's worth.

Martinique also looked like it would have been a good choice. It's bus stop was closer than Jamaica's was. And it is right next to OPR.

The rooms are great. We loved the curtain that separated the vanity/bathroom area from the rest of the room. That makes it so nice for a DN that gets up 45min - 1hr before the rest of the group!!

Also we had a bench storage chest in the room that was nice and a shelf above it with hooks for fanny packs and hats.

You'll have a fantastic time!!!

ROFL!!! Leave it to the poor put-upon men to act like martyrs when they have to take care of the babes! Well, good for you, I guess there are some dads out there who wouldn't do that.

Although they really milked it, both Tink and I have to admit they are really good daddys! They were very easy going and had alot of fun with the kids.
