Got up early, anyone surprised? No FOTL today. We went to US and were at the gates before opening. Said, "Hi" to Dick. He is something at 90 years old. Did JN 1st and second did Twister which we haven't done in a couple of months. Got wet! We did the regular touring and when the crowds got big around 11:30 we left and played pinball at Motown's arcade then to the hotel for nap time.
We went back in time to see the Macy's Parade and I was a little disappointed that all the balloons were generic. The only US balloon character was Grinch and he was mounted on a float. The Candy Cane Ladies were hot. It was fun making fun of the balloon guys in the pink jumpsuits. We nailed them right at the beginning and you could tell that they were embarassed. After the parade DS had to get his photo with all of the hot Santa's Helpers. Actually they were dressed as Mrs. Claus' in numbers worthy of Santa Hefner.
We went to Shrek 5 minutes before closing at 8 and did the stand by line for the first time. We got out at 9:30!
One more day!
Got up and packed up the van. I had to create blind stops with all of the stuffed animals. I wanted to lash the shark to the roof and see how it rode to Naples but the kids wouldn't help me.
We went to IOA for pictures with the Grinch. He was nasty! When I asked for Max he said, "He's takin' a dump!" He stuck his nasty, hairy, flu transmitting hands in our faces. He told me that my friends didn't like me. This aint Disney kids!
Since it finally made it to 70 degrees I agreed to do the water rides. DD & I dawned the ponchos and we hit JP, Dudley and Popeye. I didn't get wet at all. I think I've finally mastered even the worst Popeye deluges.
We hit NBA City for lunch on the way out. It was good. We'll go there again. DS didn't miss a trivia question.
We drove home in time for Christmas Eve.
DW said "That's it!" to Orlando trips but she says that every time. I'll give her a month this time.
I don't know what she did with the stuffed shark but I haven't seen it since we got home. I thought it would be fun to take to the beach and leave it.
Finally finished this darn report which is an accomplishment when you can only type 11 words per minute top speed. Boy is my finger tired?
