Oct. 31st
I'm up Bright and early at 6:00am, I guess my
body doesnt realize Im on vacation or Im just
too excited to waste time and sleep. DH was
sound asleep beside me and we werent meeting
the SABS until 8:20am for breakfast so I headed
to Muscles and Bustles for some early morning
exercise. A short run on the treadmill and a
nice workout on the elliptical machine even
seemed better because it was exercise at WDW.
DH was up and ready to go by the time I headed
back to our room. I showered and changed and
off we were to meet the Sabs at the Dolphin
bus stop. Our plan was to take the bus to the
Magic Kingdom and switch to the Monorail for a
Polynesian breakfast. As our luck would have it-
we were the only folks on the bus to the Magic
Kingdom and the bus driver was kind enough to drive
us right to the Polynesian- how great was that. We
made it to the Kona Café in no time.
Vincent had his first WDW breakfast and loved every minute of it!
After enjoying a filling breakfast of Tonga Toast, kona
coffee and much more we headed for the monorail to
take us to EPCOT. We were looking forward to a great
day of the Food and Wine festival.
The monorail ride was wonderful as Vincent was
able to drive the monorail (not really, but the driver
let us get some great photos) and we rode in
the front car the whole trip.
Taking that monorail ride through EPCOT is so exciting!!
Our plans were to head straight to SOARIN as none
of us had had the chance to ride yet.
We got to SOARIN and waited only about 10 minutes
and we did the baby swap, so 3 of us got to ride twice
and it was amazing. One of the better DISNEY rides
they have created in years. Just walking through the
park we were talking about what a great time we were
having and how we loved vacationing with such good
friends. We made our way over to the World Showcase
and decided to eat as much as we wanted and drink
as much as we wanted (hey no one was driving!).
Our plan was that we didnt have a plan I LOVE THAT!
On our way to Mexico, Vincent had his first character
meet and greet!
Meg and I taasted wine in Australia, ate some strange,
but yummy food in Morocco and enjoyed a nice cold
beer in France. They have so many stands set-up
along the lagoon walkway, which we knew wed be
back for some more worldly treats before this trip
was over!
Traveling through EPCOT made us tired and hot,
so we headed back to the BWI for some afternoon
swimming. The slide kept us adults entertained for
hours, while Vincent enjoyed the baby pool and
elephants that spit water.
Tonight was MNNSHP and the Boardwalk Halloween
Party as well. It was great that we could take
advantage of both parties (Ill regret that later in the evening)
After eating the worst meal at WDW- Big River Grille
we enjoyed some minor trick-or-treating on the
Boardwalk and met with Farmer Mickey and cast
members in all kinds of costumes.
We headed to the bus stop at the BWI at around
6:15pm as the party started at 7:00pm. Boy what
a mistake!!! The place was jammed. We had to
let one bus pass us by before we could get on
another. And even then it was too crowded.
SOOOO , what do we do- decide to walk all
the way through EPCOT and take the monorail
to the party.
Ive never walked that fast through EPCOT.
IT was insane. All the while, I can see DH getting
a weird look on his face, like the look that means
we are going to have a fight.
We finally get to the MK and it was mayhem,
people everywhere, kids in costumes, etc and
we wanted to see the parade early in the night
before Vincent fell asleep. So much for that plan
you couldnt find a spot on the parade route anywhere!
DH and I are now fighting and the SABS are trying
to walk away from us for fear of us yelling at them too!
DH is mad because we wasted time at the Boardwalk
party and he knew how much I wanted to start the
MNSSHP by seeing the first parade. So we go on for
about ½ hour not speaking until DH finally gives in
and hugs and kisses me outside of the Haunted Mansion
(how appropriate on Halloween).
The trick-or-treating was amazing. Ive never seen
that much candy! We got our free photos taken and
enjoyed all the rides and shows and found a perfect
spot right by Cinderella castle to watch the parade
and fireworks. All in all it was a great party!
We were so tired by midnight that we all wanted
to crawl in Vincents stroller and snuggle with him.
The buses back to the resort were very crowded,
but we were in no rush and all made it to bed in
one piece! Tomorrow MGM, Millionaire Hot Seat
and Canada!
