Day 21 Magic Kingdom (just one more time) - Time to say goodbye!
Friday 26th July 2002.
Cast:
Me- Morven (aka Undylad)
Suzanne DW
Kerri DD (7)
Liam DS (5) - the chicken strip eater.
I was up at 07:30 for coffee. When I got back the children were still sleeping. Myself and Suzanne chatted about the plans for today as it was our last day. We were all ready to rock and roll and waiting for a bus by 10:00am. Kids choice today and unanimous vote for MK. Buzz Lightyear first and top scores for Liam and myself of 856 000 and 805 200 respectively. Still no match for our Galactic Hero though.
Suzanne and kids did Winnie the Pooh while I got some FP for Thunder Mountain. We net up and did IASW again. Suzanne and Liam headed off with the four FP for Thunder Mountain. Kerri and myself headed to get FP for Space Mountain as Kerri had found her Thrill Ride genes late in the holiday and was only interested in the fastest rides.
We headed back to the hotel and picked up the cases from Baggage Services and then waited for the bus to take us to the hotel.
The rest of the journey home was uneventful but tiring due to the 12-hour drive up from Gatwick to Aberdeen, thankfully no delays due to traffic jams this time.
So looking back at the holiday:
Three weeks were great. The flights were very good. We will book earlier and try and fly from a closer airport next time. We will have a car for the full holiday next time. We were impressed with staying on resort experiance. What a great holiday but only scratched the surface, still so many things to do and so much to see.
Looking forward to July 04:
Accommodation is booked Old Key West.
Flights are booked flying from Edinburgh.
Car hire is booked.
Tickets bought.
Just watching the exchange rate for our dollars.
So now I have finally finished these trip reports, it is time to get down to some serious planning for July.
I hope you enjoyed them? I have enjoyed typing them up!
