The last couple of months, I haven't been eating very well. Things have been crazy with moving to Florida, etc. Besides putting on about 5 pounds, I've been feeling really yucky, tired a lot, heartburn all the time....
So, yesterday I started Induction and this morning I was down 3 pounds already!
Last night was the first night in a long time that I didn't wake up with heartburn in the middle of the night! It feels so good to be eating healthy again!
In case anyone else is starting Induction, here's my typical diet:
Breakfast: Scrambled eggs with turkey, cheese, sauteed onions and mushrooms
Lunch: Leftover Antipasto salad from dinner last night (cauliflower, broccoli, tomatoes, a little onion, pepperocinis, zucchini, mushrooms, pepperoni, salami, provolone, turnips - all mixed in Italian dressing)
Dinner: (tonight) Ribeye steak with a slice of cheese melted over it, and a few steamed broccoli spears with butter
Snack: New Dannon low-carb yogurt (3 carbs per container)
