Before I start today's trip report I have to mention that even though my husband is a Disney liker not a lover he has been pretty excited about this trip. And even though he has questioned why I spend so much time at the boards by the end of this trip he will be convinced that it was time well spent.
Today we head to the MK, family #2 is already there since they had PS for breakfast at Chef Mickey's. We get up at 7:30 I tell Nicky to jump into the shower while we have breakfast in the room.This is such a great idea and a time saver ,BUT, I was so distracted making sure Ale had a good breakfast when I realize it's already 8:30 and Nicky,who will be turning 11 in a month,is still in the shower. Unbelivable, she is or will be 11 and she is already acting like a teenager. I tell her to get out of the shower at that moment and she comes out complaining that she wasn't done.....WHAT??
...Anyway,we all take a quick shower and get ready by the time we walk out the door is almost 10 o'clock.We get to MK at around 10:30 Omy has called us 3 times already I had told her we were going to meet them at 9:30 and we were late,because, of our pre teen and her short shower. I didn't know what to expect with security ,but, I am glad to say it didn't take long to go thru it. We walked thru main street and called Omy they are waiting in line for Winnie The Pooh.So, I asked the kids what they want to dowhile we are waiting and you guessed it....Buzz Lightyear..we walked over and the standby line is only 10 min ,so,we get on the line it goes by pretty fast..jump on the ride and I was so proud of myself I got 135,000 I turn to tell my DH and I see his score 160,000.Oh,well at least I had 2 seconds of pride..
As soon as we exit we head over to the FP ,because, of course we want to go again
. We started walking towards Winnie The pooh and the kids ask us to go the teacups, I guess if Omy has been waiting for an hour 10 more minutes isn't going to kill her * Rude, I know ,but, I want to ride the teacups too* I call them to let them know and they go to Snowhite. We finally meet them at Snowhite's exit and Gaby comes out laughing and Tiger comes out crying and runs over to me to tell me didn't like it. I tell him it's just make believe and it seems to calm him down.Meanwhile, Omy is telling me that Gaby was laughing so hard the entire ride that it seemed unreal. What to do next??..We were going to meet Ariel ,but, the line seemed long,so,we start walking towards Peter Pan to get a FP. We get our fast passes and they were for 1:10 to 2:10. Ok, so now we tell them that is time for our Buzz Light Year FP and we all head that way. This time there was no line
so we get in and out pretty fast. I am ashamed to tell you my score this time ,so, we'll just skip that part . Dh , Raf, Nicky and Ale head over to Alien Encounter and Omy and I decided to make the most of our time and go shopping . By the time they get out it's 1:45 ,so, we head out to Peter Pan to use our FP's. At that time the kids decide they have to go, but, for some reason they don't decide to go at the same time.They wait until one comes out to announce they have to go too. By the time they are done it's 2:02 we only have 8 minutes to get to Peter Pan. It was wednesday and it was so crowded it was hard to get from point A to Point B. By the time we get there is 2:10 and there is a long line at the FP line at least 25-30 people and they are just standing there and not moving
. So we get on the standby line thinking that there must be something wrong at th FP line since we were on it for 5 minutes and it did not move. After 15 minutes of not moving again I look back and see that there is an even longer line behind us and the FP line is gone.I decided to tell the CM what happened and see if we could still use our FP's if he said we couldn't use them we were still on the standby line ,so, it was no big deal. I walked over with Ale with our FP's in my hand and I show them to the CM and I tell him that they were FOR 1:10 and that we got on the standby line thinking there was something wrong with the FP and he LOOKS at his watch and he says 1:10 sure go on,then, I tell him that we are a group of 8 and that I needed to go get them ,because, they were standing in the standby line and he says go get them I ask him are you sure?? and he looks at me and says no problem. I get everybody out of the line and we head to the FP entry when we get there he says,I'm sorry you can't go on... and I tell him ,but, I just asked you and you said no problem and he tells me he must of gotten the time confused and that he thought I said I had gotten the FP's at 1:10 and I tell him that if I had gotten the FP's at 1:10 I didn't need to ask him If I could go on.I also told him that I had showed him the FP's and he looked at them. Ale is standing next to me and since he was with me when I first went to ask him he looks at me confused and ask me why we couldn't go on when he had just said we could. Then this wonderful Cm whose name I just don't want to mention again ,because, It just makes my stomach turns tells us to get on the standby line. I tell him that we were just in that line for 15 minutes before he told us we could come over.At this point my husband steps in..and the CM raises his voice and says to him sir your fast pass is expired. Not for nothing ,but, he was very rude.When Ale and I went over to ask him there was no one behind us,so,he was not rushed.I have been to DW more than 30 times and this is the first time I have had a problem. We walk away and the kids are about to cry when I tell them we have to find spots for the parade,then,they said they were hungry and we head to where else...Peco Bill's for lunch. Nicky found us a great table outside while we were getting the food and we were able to enjoy the parade.My DH asks again how did I know where to find this great spot and I tell him the DISboard. After lunch we head over to haunted mansion and guess what is the first thing that the kids ask when we get in line.....Are they going to kick us out again??..and yes we owe this lovely memory to our wonderfully rude CM
I don't know how this happened,but, Nicky always manages to steal DH from me and I got to ride with Ale and Tiger and they were so scared. I had to fake a laugh the entire ride ,so, they wouldn't cry. I had to tell them that it was all make believe ..you should off seen them, they tried so hard to laugh ,but, they looked so terrified at the same time.After this we headed over to Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Road Gaby couldn't ride and Ale didn't want to,so, once again Omy and I stayed behind and went shopping..oh, the things we have to do .After this we all went to Pirates of the Caribbean and guess what the kids asked again...Are we going to get kicked out??....At this point I have to Admit the whole Peter Pan incident was getting to me and I told my husband that I was going to complain. He asked me where we could do this..and I remembered someone had mentioned on the boards about going to guest services to complain and I decided at that point that guest services was going to be our last stop today. If you think about it that is the one thing that the kids were going to remember from their trip to MK ..Getting kicked out of a ride
. We head back to Buzz there is no line we ride twice,the guys and Nicky ride Space Mountain. Our very last ride of the day was the Indy cars.There was a long line at this ride all day,but, this was the one ride Ale could not stop talking about the whole trip,because, he was hoping he could ride by himself this time. As we are standing in this line for,at least, 25 minutes I am hoping he can ride by himself.I did measure him against the sign at the entry and he looked barely tall enough.I tell him that if he wasn't tall enough I would ride with him but he looks at me and tells me he knows he is tall enough this time.This kid has been waiting to ride by himself for eight years I sure hope he can.My role as trip optimist was kind of defeated by the earlier incident ,but, this kid looks so confident. It's our turn we send him first the guy measures him and gives him a thumbs up
..he looks back at us with a big smile on his face I almost cried. I was worried he would not know how to stop the car or make the turns..boy,was I wrong!!...I was right behind him and I couldn't catch up ..he drove it perfectly!!
It was closing time as we were walking out of tommorrowland I remember reading about a spot to see Tinkerbell I looked over to the right and I see it. I look up and see the rope and I tell everybody that we have to stay at that spot because Tinkerbell was going to fly over us.They all look at me like I am crazy ,since , everybody is standing by mainstreet and there's only a few people there ,but, they stayed. We hear the music I tell everyone to look towards the castle and who comes flying???....Tinkerbell and she flies right over us...My husband looks at me and ask me if I got this at the boards too and of course I say yes and he smiles.
On the way out, we stopped and do more shopping.Omy has thanked me many times so far for convincing her to stay on site,but, whenever we buy something and she tells the CM she wants to send it to the hotel she thanks me again

Family #2 heads back to the hotel ,since, the kids had a full day and were getting cranky and we headed towards guest services. I have to admit I was not looking foward to this ,but, even though we didn't let the incident ruin the day it was eating me up inside. As soon as we walked into Guest Services Ale asks me if we were going to complain and I said yes and he says good,that man had no manners and he yelled at us after we asked him.Ok, so now I knew I was doing the right thing. We got a real nice CM Brandie and I told her what had happened.I also told her I didn't plan to complain ,but, after the kids kept asking us if we were going to get thrown out again I decided we had to. She called the ride's supervisor and explained what happened and guess what??...he told her that even though the FP were expired if he had made the mistake he could of let us thru the FP line. That they give the CM's the option to do this...I was so angry when I heard this. It wasn't that he couldn't let us thru ,he simply did not felt like it ...Very undisney!!!....She offered us Priority entry for Peter Pan for another day and I told her that I did not want to go back to the ride and look at his face now that I knew what he did.So, she gave us an open Priority for any ride at any other park. I was glad she spoke to the supervisor ,because, he said he was going to have a talk with him. When I turn to leave I noticed Nicky has fallen asleep on the couch at guest services ,we are all very tired.After this long day we head back to the hotel ,eat and go to sleep.Another long day awaits for us tommorow...MGM and Epcot..hopefully no more rude CM encounters.
